@JoeHutzal@dstaples Except that the catcher knows where the pitcher is trying to put the ball. When they don’t, the catcher misses it. And nobody is trying to get in the way. Pulse, the pitch is always coming home, not passed off to another pitcher to throw it. Terrible analogy.
@BradkOil @qauckenbush17 Yeah. Dumb fight. Next time, fight to stick up for mcdavid or drai, not just fight for the sake of fighting, picking the toughest guy in the league. So many times in the last couple of games he has had the opportunity to step in in that fashion and didn’t. Plus. Hit something!
THREAD 🧵:
Dear friends and family who still read @DavidStaplesYEG,
First of all, I get it.
He writes with confidence, like the guy who just knows how to fix “the system” if only everyone else weren’t so emotional.
@dstaples I just want Kaprizov and the other Prima Donnas to sign so we can sign him and get beyond the BS. I have a feeling that is what he is waiting for.
@spetershockey I would argue that the feet contact does not make him fall into Skinner, but gives him the excuse to be able to fall into skinner. Now way was the contact hard enough to cause him to fall into him the way he did.
@SportsnetSpec Bottom line - nobody picked up the most dangerous guy on the ice at that moment. Puck watchers got caught and Vegas made a play, got a bounce, and won the game.
@jesuiscanard@damosuzuki1@NoContextHumans No. No you’re not. If you were right we’d be screwed. There is no “implied ambiguity” or whatever you called it. You are in fact technically wrong.
