BREAKING: Democratic Senators John Fetterman, Sheldon Whitehouse, and Peter Welch introduce a life-changing bill that would cancel student lunch debt across America — something that should not even exist in the first place.

The historic "School Lunch Debt Cancellation Act" is already getting vitriolic pushback from MAGA Republicans who apparently will defend any means of turning profit, even if it hurts children.

The idea of "school lunch debt" would sound insane anywhere else in the world, but in America hungry students are often given food at school but then forced to pay for it later — which the poor often cannot afford to do. As a result, they accumulate crippling debt.

Astonishingly, there are 30 million children in the United States — the wealthiest nation in the history of the world — who cannot afford their school meals. They carry an accumulated total of $262 million in school meal debt annually.

"‘School lunch debt’ is a term so absurd that it shouldn’t even exist," said Fetterman in a press release. "That’s why I’m proud to introduce this bill to cancel the nation’s student meal debt and stop humiliating kids and penalizing hunger."

“It’s time to come together and stop playing political games with Americans' access to food," he went on. "September is Hunger Action Month and I’m proud to be introducing this bill to help working families now, while we work to move our other priorities to combat food insecurity in our nation."

If passed, the bill would direct the United States Department of Agriculture to pay for all debts owed to school for lunch or breakfast programs.

This is the kind of meaningful legislation that you get when you elect Democrats, real change instead of just more tax cuts for the rich and corporations.

BREAKING: Donald Trump lets the cat out of the bag about how Republicans hate democracy by launching an unhinged attack on Pennsylvania's Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro for implementing statewide automatic voter registration.

Unleashing yet another Truth Social post that shows he's circling the drain, Trump called the registration move — which has been praised by democracy experts — for being a "disaster for the Election of Republicans including your favorite President, ME!"

In other words, Trump is admitting that when more people vote, Republicans lose. The far-right conservative agenda is deeply unpopular with most Americans.

Trump went on to falsely call the automatic registration a "totally Unconstitutional Act" that "must be met harshly by Republican Leadership in Washington and Pennsylvania."

Of course, there is nothing Republicans can actually do about the Pennsylvania change since it's perfectly legal and Governor Shapiro was well within his rights to mandate it.

The repeatedly indicted ex-president rounded out his Truth Social outburst with some parting shots against "Sloppy" Chris Christie, "Lyin" Mike Pence, Nikki "Birdbrain" Haley and "Ron ('Dead Campaign') DeSanctimonious."

Trump's rotting mind is all over the place and anybody who takes what he says seriously at this point should have their head examined.

Governor Shapiro should be applauded for his pro-democracy efforts. If he's making fascists like Donald Trump worried, he must be doing something right!

BREAKING: Donald Trump throws a desperate Hail Mary pass to save himself by formally demanding that renowned U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan recuse herself from his 2020 election case.

The shady attorneys working for the indicted ex-president cited statements that Chutkan made while sentencing previous January 6th defendants as supposed "proof" that she's biased. In truth, her remarks only demonstrate that she respects and upholds the law.

"Judge Chutkan has, in connection with other cases, suggested that President Trump should be prosecuted and imprisoned," wrote Trump's attorneys.

Obviously, they refused to admit that their client should be prosecuted and imprisoned for trying to illegally overthrow American democracy. Anyone who understands the law would agree.

"Such statements, made before this case began and without due process, are inherently disqualifying," they went on. "Although Judge Chutkan may genuinely intend to give President Trump a fair trial—and may believe that she can do so—her public statements unavoidably taint these proceedings, regardless of outcome."

These outrageous complaints could perhaps be given more credence if Trump hadn't already spent the past few months constantly attacking every judge assigned to one of his numerous cases. This is his only strategy.

Trump and his lawyers can't win their cases on merit so they resort to smears and screeching complaints. None of it will save them.

Judge Chutkan should not recuse herself.

She should deliver justice.

Well, well it seems Trump and his team of incompetents may have made a huge mistake

It seems Trump who is using his Fulton County jail Mugshot for pictures and T shirts for sale to raise money

Unfortunately he didn’t know or realize that using these photos are actual property belonging to the Fulton County Sheriffs Dept and he was in violation of the US copyright laws and all the money he has grifted may have to be returned to the sheriffs Dept.

Could this be another Court case he will have and most likely lose

BREAKING: In an unhinged rant, Trumper Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene demands that the January 6 insurrectionists who just got historic sentences receive a full pardon for the violent, treasonous actions that they committed on Donald Trump’s behalf.

In her rant, Greene complained that “Proud Boys organizer Joseph Biggs sentenced to 17 years by U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly,” and declared that “January 6ers need to be pardoned” because “they’ve been persecuted enough.”

Greene conveniently left out the fact that Joseph Biggs is a “Proud Boys Lieutenant” who was found guilty of seditious conspiracy against the United States of America — and ordered his Proud Boy soldiers to violently attack Capitol Police — sending over a hundred officers to the hospital.

She also left put the fact that she helped Trump orchestrate the deadly insurrection — and should be criminally indicted herself.

BREAKING: Corrupt Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas discloses three more luxury trips he accepted from Republican billionaire Harlan Crow last year — adding to the pile of blatant bribes he has accepted.

The stunningly immoral admissions were exposed in newly public documents.

Thomas still denies that he did anything wrong by accepting such expensive gifts from a partisan operative, demonstrating just how little he thinks of the American people. He thinks we will buy his BS story.

Two trips were to Dallas and the third was to a private lakeside resort in the Adirondacks in New York. Doesn’t that sound relaxing?

For at least one of the trips he flew private, something most Americans will never get a chance to experience.

Clarence insists that the expensive private travel was because of “security concerns” after the Roe decision leaked, but it was just as likely because he’s grown used to living like an oligarch.

At this point, the corruption is undeniable. Clarence Thomas has made a deal with the devil. In return for helping turn America into a Christian fascist nightmare, he gets to live like a king.

It’s time to impeach him.
