NTPC family is deeply shocked by today's unfortunate incident which led to the sad demise of our employee, Shri Kumar Gaurav, DGM posted at Kerandari Coal Mining Project in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family, his colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult time.

We strongly condemn this act of violence on our workforce who are always on a mission mode to provide reliable, affordable and uninterrupted supply of power 24x7 to the nation.

The safety of our employees and workers is paramount for us, and we will leave no stone unturned to ensure that they work in a safe environment.

The site management is committed to extend full cooperation to the police and administration for a thorough investigation and concrete action in this regard.

Aftr 2 yr of long wait on 9 Feb 2022 @RailMinIndia issued a notice which states that IRMS is now formed. As IRMS was formed by withdrawing vacancies from ESE so recruitment should be done through ESE or it should conduct separate exam.
