@Fitz90MARK@CyclingInASkirt@dave2809 Winnats is my nemesis. Out of about 10 attempts, I’ve only ever managed to ride all the way up once, when I had a tailwind. I usually get 2/3 of the way up, the headwind hits me and I just stop. So steep, you can’t get going again!
@nick_redliner@gazzabiker My local chippy takes cash and card. Almost everyone pays by card. The local barber only takes cash though. Often people get a haircut, then have to go and withdraw the cash to pay for it.
@PaulCC20@annaholligan Loved when my son’s U15 team played in the Netherlands. All of the opposition teams turned up on bikes! So much freedom for kids there. No being ferried around in a car.
@MrCrystalMighty @brackley88 @Red10208731@i_heart__bikes The fact that most are riding cyclocross bikes with knobbly tyres (mountain bikes also allowed), they’ve got timing chips on, several of them appear in the race photos of the NJCX Cooper River Cyclo cross.
@MrCrystalMighty @brackley88 @Red10208731@i_heart__bikes Cyclocross races often have a start loop, on tarmac, to enable riders to get a clean start before they hit the dirt tracks, grass and obstacles. Try watching some cyclocross on YouTube and you will understand better.
@MrCrystalMighty @brackley88 @Red10208731@i_heart__bikes MrCristalMighty. You obviously know nothing about cyclocross. You are just making yourself look silly, especially to those of us who do.
