@CPMumma79@BritishGas The problem I had was that all the utility companies were great, but each one had their own process that was different to all the others! A one stop process for utilities similar to Tell Us Once would be a brilliant thing for people having to navigate this.
@CPMumma79 Had the same letter when my mum died last year, my take was that this process is reversing a direct debit that was paid in "error" rather than direct access to any other funds in the account. I ended up having to pay them the overpayment later from estate.
