@ATRightMovies I wore chukka boots that day. Despite them being quite old and very dear to me, I wanted nothing more than to shove them right into the main character's face
@pixelprayer Armored Core: Verdict Day. It can go from stunning to stunningly ugly in 2 seconds. It was ugly at launch, but replaying lately, think it just came a console gen too early.
Also the storytelling is crap, but the ideas are solid; especially one character's Apollo Creed-esque arc.
@ATRightMovies At a certain point, popular YT film critics should be vetted because too many so often give feedback that is neither actionable nor rooted in real expertise, which then contributes to the gradual decline of legitimate critical thinking in the species as the blind lead the blind
Been asked if Fandom's Armored Core wiki would migrate to Miraheze, which I'll address here for future reference: "Nah" from me, because if the English-speaking fandom can't do shit on one platform, they'll do dick on another. It'd be wasting existing traffic for mere fancies
@GundamInfoNA It is one of the few shows that feel like the producers aren't the detrimental sort of otaku shut-ins, and in terms of overall balance between character writing interweaved with plot and all that other jazz, it is unmatched.
Just holds up as great sci-fi (some 70s-isms aside)
As for why I'm even bringing this up, I just learned that you can delete a youtube channel to restart from absolute zero with the same email; clearing both vids and subs.
It's a lovely thing to be able to recycle the account without bothering the people already subbed
Finished today, it would be a concise Short/Reel framed like a Watsonian archive with Templin Institute + AC Nexus's cyberspace visuals.
TTS would be smoother thanks to modern TTS tech, but as of 2026, non-comedic TTS is no longer quite in vogue
