@JRPelchat Point taken. So, why are there whispers of possible Chinese, Russian, and American investment? Everybody is planning for the future with the continued building of more reactors and bringing closed reactors back online. There is no one company that produces that amount of uranium.
@AlgomaSteelInc@MarkJCarney What are the planned Canadian infrastructure and defense projects? I have not read or heard of any projects that has actually started and would like to stay in the loop. I prefer to support Canadian companies.
@JRPelchat If the US DFC provides the financial support for the mill; in return they get a portion of the U308 they strategically need for their uranium reserve. The reserve is built up from various sources.
@JRPelchat Jim, there has always been risk with mining in various countries which is why it is important to understand this variable before making an investment. When it comes to GLO, it may get funding as long as the Niger government is supportive. Military support provided for uranium.
@JRPelchat JM, thanks for the update and I wish that I would be as punctual as you are. If Roman gets the cash need, the dilution occurs which creates a good buying opportunity, and the project should be able to proceed as previously planned. I'm on the sideline with GLO for the time being.
@JRPelchat GLO would be selling their zinc asset at a low and it sure would be interesting to know what their 49% owned business is worth. On the other hand, with another placement, dilution may be their only option which should lead to continued development of their asset.
@BambroughKevin Utility companies may like the geopolitical scene that has created turmoil and uncertainty between countries; resulting in a lower spot price as supply continues to outweigh demand. It may be cheaper to use natural gas. Magic number $4.50/MMBtu????
@JRPelchat Jim, you made a very interesting observation with GLO. With GLO owning 49% of the zinc business they do have a few dollars, as a back up. I understand that management has been searching for funding but because of the political situation the money has not materialized to date.
