A civilization is built on a set of internalized values. I'm never going to rationalize what went down on Jan 6, 2021, but lets be clear, it was a protest that went badly sideways. It lasted a day. The only person who died as a result was a protester, a young woman who served in the military. Merrick Garland and Chris Wray hunted down and imprisoned every man and woman remotely involved. Another priority for the Biden Investigating parents concerned about the teaching of trans ideology in schools, treating them as terrorists. While they were doing all of the above, real terrorists were arriving because of our open borders, plotting to do what terrorists do. The Secret Service leadership grew so inept it allowed a shooter easy access to Trump. The spending Biden is doing as he sleeps 18 hours a day is so staggering that bond market is beginning to signal significant fiscal destress is on the way. We are living in perilous times. The country hasn't been run right for four years and you get the feeling the bill is coming due. Let that set in on the first day of the new year.
