@DataRepublican The mathematician in the story reminds me a bit of Thomas Sowell's epiphany after working in the federal government, the one which turned him from a Marxist to a Capitalist: the realization that some in problem-solving positions end up being there just to have something to do.
@SenatorCollins GOOD! Congress has abused its "power of the purse" to the point where we are in a state of debt which is unrecoverable from. Want to know why we have constant inflation issues? Look in the mirror and then at the rest of Congress. Fix your house before complaining about others.
@NewYorker@elonmusk, thanks for X. I can shake my head and laugh at ridiculous stories like this while not giving the author nor their website any clicks.
@BernieSanders Does this include bigotry against the "millionaires" (no, wait... you stopped mentioning them once you became one), I mean "multi-millionaires" (whoops, same mistake), I mean "billionaires" you constantly stump against?
@ABC@ABC - This is why no one trusts the media an longer. Don't bitch, piss nor whine when your reporters are snubbed or mocked, just look back at examples like this blatant attempt to imply her murder as racism to see that you are creating those reactions. Learn some integrity.
@Schuldensuehner It's not QE, but we need a term for it. "Re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic" doesn't really roll of the tongue well.
Deficit-Backed Quantitave Easing?
@chris_j_paxton Uhm... what are they actually picking? Those are just the blooms, not bolls. In looking over the video multiple times, I haven't seen a single opened boll.
@JohnCornyn Instead of being humbled enough by your brutal 28-point loss that you do some serious introspection, you childishly lash out at those trying to have adult discourse about the very things your constituents rejected you over. Congratulations on confirming why you lost
@fandompulse It could work, but they would need to get back to writing comics focused on appealing to their original core audience AND making them inexpensive once again. If they REALLY wanted to get fancy, make it its own line, slowly bringing characters in over years (a true reboot).
@TeamKClark Let's be clear: that's not how State laws work. You either know that and are therefore purposely pushing a false narrative to gin up animosity (and we all know of the Left's penchant for political violence) or you don't know it and your law degree should be questioned.
@PlayPaxDei Will we see birds flying in the air at a distance or will they primarily be ground assets which just fly at a low level from point to point or when fleeing (like the movements of boar or deer)? Will they roost in trees?
@elonmusk You essentially devalue money when you are giving it away like that (read: inflation). You're pushing for a post-scarcity economy, but we aren't there yet and I would wager many folks aren't psychologically built to handle it.
@MarkWarner Giving false statements isn't "dissent," it's a crime. Those making the false statements can be sued by the subject of those statements for Defamation, and they could be prosecuted under 18 U.S.C. Β§ 1001 if they made their false claims to federal agents.
