@alpert It will depend on whether @OSSEDC uses mandatory language when drafting its regs based on this document. If past is prologue, OSSE will almost certainly be overly cautious and hyper regulatory.
@chenderson@MySchoolDC This is what happens when most DC public/charter school students don't have in-person instruction w/ their teachers for > 1 year. Motivated parents find alternatives. It's been great for private schools but it saddens me to imagine a significantly diminished public school system.
@PerryStein@terri_rupar At my DCPS school they claimed they were meeting in-person demand based on a school survey that explicitly said there would be no teachers in any of the “in-person” classrooms—just room monitors. Of course many patents who want an in-person seat don’t want “Zoom in a room.”
