As a retired @OrlandoPolice Detective and candidate for Orange County Sheriff, this post, recognizing the proper actions OPD Officer Toliver makes me very proud. Following the U.S. Constitution, Following the Law. Thank you Kait for posting about good work! #orlando#goodwork
Overwhelming bipartisan support for @realDonaldTrump keeping #Iran regime from having enriched #uranium for a #Nuclearweapon and dirty bombs. You won’t see this on the social media of the 12-21% percenters…
🚨🚨🚨An Iranian woman asked Israel to eliminate Iran's leader and his son, and attack IRIB - Islamic Republic’s Television and Radio network.
Israel listened and fulfilled part of her wish - during live broadcasting!

While in the store, I also watched other employees call on Rafael for assistance. Multiple times, he stopped what he was doing and helped out. So refreshing to see a manager care about the customer and his employees.

I am very thankful for the exceptional service I received from @autozone Store #6731 by the store’s manager, Rafael.
Rafael's attention to detail made my day much easier, making the experience less of a hassle than it could have been without his assistance.

Rafael took my call, answered all my questions, showed concern about the battery size, and double-checked to ensure an exact fit; H7 or H8 size. I arrived at the store and it turned out I needed an an H8 Size 49 AGM battery, whereas I had been looking at the H7.
@AnnaForFlorida SB 1422 dangerously allows “reasonable force” to down #drones over private property. But, what’s “reasonable”? It is not defined & w/o clear limits, it could mean firearms. SB 1422 must ban using a #firearm to shoot down a #drone unless there's imminent #danger.
Like New Year’s gunfire, bullets fired at drones will come down. One #Orlando resident was killed this way. The @OrlandoPolice case was solved only after using the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) and matching a rifle w/ the projectile killing the person
@SheriffMina misled @AGJamesUthmeier & public in blaming @SAO9Circuit for case backlog, despite OCSO's policy mandating deputies file non-arrest misdemeanors. OCSO accounts for 43% of all backlog cases in circuit—230+% more than @OrlandoPolice Sheriff caused majority of backlog!
Campaign Announcement: I’m in for 2028!
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is in serious need of new leadership. Neither the current sheriff nor his command staff should be elected to lead because most have contributed to the office’s ongoing dysfunction. There are operational inefficiencies, transparency issues, and unfair disciplinary actions that have lowered morale among deputies along with actions that have placed the public at risk. More on those debacles later.
A sheriff should be reasonable, fair, and committed to upholding the law while also being capable of administering the agency effectively and efficiently. These are basic principles that I will follow when elected as the next Sheriff of Orange County.
Recently, Sheriff Mina and his administration created mass confusion over immigration enforcement. Last year, Governor DeSantis made it clear that changes to immigration laws were coming, yet the sheriff continued to operate as if nothing would change. Initially, Sheriff Mina stated that immigration enforcement should remain a federal responsibility. However, shortly after, he signed a 287(g) program agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), allowing deputies to assist in immigration enforcement. This contradiction undermines transparency and erodes public trust.
As a result, many residents, both legal and undocumented, have become uncertain about how Sheriff Mina’s vacillating policies would affect them. Even lawful permanent residents in Orange County are left feeling unsettled. This uncertainty causes fear among Orange County’s immigrant communities. This kind of flip-flopping doesn’t just create confusion, it destroys trust. Clear, consistent communication is essential for maintaining trust, and that is something the current administration has failed to provide, over-and-over again.
Orange County deserves better. I’m here to deliver.

I look forward to debating Sheriff Mina or anyone who chooses to run for Sheriff.

Congressman @MaxwellFrostFL has problems holding people accountable for improper payments. The #GAO came out w/ a report - told #DOGE to, “Hold My Beer!” 2.7 Trillion improperly paid out government-wide since FY03, $2.7T total. In FY23, $236B was mispaid—$11B less than FY22.
@SeanDuffyWI@SecDuffy The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) @CFXway in Orange County, Orlando, FL is now starting a variable rate toll on Express Lanes along Interstate 4! Take a look!! @GovRonDeSantis@seanhannity https://t.co/sWmPSV1eBY
