@Scott_Maxwell Get a large plastic tote and use it to store your hurricane kit. Batteries. Radio. Cell phone power. Whatever is on the list, plus a battery operated fan. And buy a few gallons of water. Shove it all in a closet until you need it. Avoid the Publix panic when a storm is near.
