Day 6 of Mexican trip Left Guadalajara at 6 am flight landed in time to see Canada get stoned by Hellybuck.Left in time to miss the craziness in PV Guadalajara and Jalisco.Glad to have missed that adventure.Still have family in and around the unrest.Our thoughts for safe return.

Day 5 Mexican Adventure.Left Miguel el Alto headed back to Guadalajara.Stopped in Tonala,about 1/2 hour outGuadalajara.Had lunch at a little cafe(at least 3 of ate,right Linda)Met a nice street cat and saw more VW Bugs in one week in Mexico than I have seen in the past 15 years+

Day 4 of Mexican adventure, Wedding Day, the real reason we were in Mexico. Sorry for delay but needed to recover from staying out past 2:00 am. Not a spring chicken anymore and the party was still going when we left.

Day3 Mexican Adventure part 2. Left San Miguel de Allende and headed to Guanajuato, a city that has many tunnels underneath it that were originally used to divert flood waters part are now used as roads, pretty neat. A great lunch and then back to

San Miguel el Alto to connect with family. Celebrated groom’s birthday, one big candle. A big shout out the Diana’s aunt, owner of the hotel/restaurant Hotel Mesón de los Cristeros for hosting(and the tequila shots) and taking care of the bill.

Day 2,BillyBob’s Mexican adventure.After 3 hr rid from San Miguel de Alto,San Miguel el Allende didn’t disappoint.Some great rooftop views,great architecture,visit to Fabrica La Aurora(old textile mill now an art market)and some Pink Floyd to end night before trek back to hotel.

Picked a good day to leave Winnipeg, left Thursday at -47, 20 pool side in Scottsdale at my sister’s. Sat by the pool,swam, visited the #MartinAutoMuseum, saw #MillionDollarQuartet and listened to #CCRRevisited at the #MIM. Arrive home tomorrow hopefully to more seasonal weather.

You can’t make this stuff up Part 2, Grey Cup memories. My sister, a huge Bomber fan, became a big time Trey Vaval fan this year. She was in Ottawa to see his record missed field goal return TD. She is in Winnipeg and wanted to find a 23 jersey.

After his double award win on Thursday, his jersey now available. Of course she got one. Friday night at the concert she headed to the bathroom. A woman in the bathroom noticed the jersey and asks to see the number on the back. The woman was excited to see her son’s name …
