I had an accident that unfortunately left me with no hulk powers but set me on the goal of learning and living. Now I specialize in technology, from servers to network and all in between with engineering on the weekends for fun. Live life and enjoy while learning all you can.

Nyx update. We have been training it and letting it analyze the traffic and logs. So far it found 5 compromised machines, thanks kids, and an XP machine operations dropped out there. So far so good

So, we discussed project #2. We are building the air gapped testing area. We are going to simulate our entire infrastructure, turn loose an obliterated model and bot with full tool access. Wish us luck. 😳. Nyx has been shining at helping us. The bot mode has discovered 12 loops, a crashed switch, and the reports are awesome.

This week, @ActinideInc became the first startup in history to enrich uranium, producing HALEU, the fuel for next-gen and small modular reactors.

We did it using Endurance, a particle accelerator that we designed and built in Texas.

Endurance usually produces enriched Yb-176, a precursor for cancer therapies worth roughly $30,000 per gram.

After a bulk Yb-176 delivery on July 30, we reconfigured Endurance for uranium.

And we just got everything back up and running. Some @#%#%! Decided to open the handhold, take out the splice can, and open it up. I’m not sure if they thought they hit the copper lottery or what. In the end 2 splices bad, the splicer flipped a pair so that was 20 minutes of troubleshooting.

Saturday morning, my alert software says hey site x is down. Drive the hour and a half, now 2 sites. Fiber is dark, OTDR says it’s cut almost 1/2 Km. Drive by, located everywhere. I’m still here waiting on splicer, it’s hot, humid and gross. 🤯

Nyx update, I spun up a log collector for the firewall. It now crawls the database periodically and analyses the hat it’s seeing. So far it has found 3 systems trying to get out to command and control servers. They are now blocked and have been collected for analysis.
