@BobbyMilone29 Pretty sure that Yankees will roll out Volpe as their starting second baseman next year and wait until the trade deadline mid season before considering a trade
@BobbyMilone29 We hit quite a few balls on the screws today that were right at people. Wells and others are getting their mechanics and confidence back. The worm will turn.
@RyanGarciaESM Watching Garcia play first base these last two nights I would leave him there. I don’t like Rice at first base (or catcher) and we are better as a team with him as the full time DH. Stanton, Ramos would make our bench stronger..
@TalkinYanks@SeatGeek Jazz is arguably the most physically talented player on the team but his consistent lack of focus and stubbornness to not adjust his two strikes swing approach makes me both nervous and hesitant to play him in big games.
@BobbyMilone29 Jasson has started to play better recently … his upside, especially as a hitter, is high. I hope he’s not traded but could understand him being included in a blockbuster deal for someone like Miller. I would love to see the Yankees pick up Luis Robert for the stretch run.
@ChrisKirschner Agree that the Yankee brand lost it’s mojo when Steinbrenner bullied his way into the moving out of the Cathedral….. the baseball gods weren’t happy about that ….. however I look for it to return this season as we run out the best starting pitching staff we’ve had in years.
@BobbyMilone29 Look for Rice to start 90 percent of the games at first base. Goldy back for veteran presence, for a righty bat off the bench and a late inning defensive replacement. All good things.
@JLas43_ Under ideal circumstances Ben Rice should be in the lineup everyday …. as a DH. I give him credit for working on his fielding at first base and behind the plate but I’m never comfortable watching play either. When Stanton is gone, Rice becomes the DH and Belli moves to first.
