@MTN180@MTNNG@ConsumersNCC
Following our recent meeting at your Lagos headquarters, where it was confirmed that the new data gifting policy would only apply to new data purchases, we have noticed that the policy is being applied to our existing stock.
Alhmadulillah @MTN180@MTNNG@ConsumersNCC
I want to express my gratitude for listening to the youth and allowing us to use the old data stock we purchased before the new policies were introduced.
I commend @MTNNG@MTN180 for taking the bold step to restore the 5GB sharing policy. MTN's decision is truly commendable. Although the initial decision was avoidable, MTN's swift reversal demonstrates their commitment to listening to customers.
We fought a good fight, and @MTNNG listened.
This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the invaluable support of the Nigerian Communications Commission @NgComCommission@ConsumersNCC This success serves as a strong indication that the @NgComCommission is effectively protecting consumer interests
Thank you to everyone who stood with us during these uncertain times. Your support means everything.

Dear @MTNGhana
Would you advertise an offer and then abruptly disable it after noticing a significant number of customers have subscribed? I'm sure you wouldn't. If you did, President Akufo @NAkufoAddo would hold you accountable.
However, MTN Nigeria @MTNNG@MTN180 has done just that - taking customers' hard-earned money after publicly promoting the 5GB data share plan, only to disable the sharing feature without notice, leaving many with unused data and financial losses.
This is unacceptable, and President Tinubu @officialABAT should hold MTN accountable. No foreign company should exploit Nigerian citizens' hard-earned money.

Dear @ProfIsaPantami,
I'm reaching out to seek your advice on an issue with MTN Nigeria (@MTNNG). They publicly advertised that we could purchase data and share 5GB daily. Many of us invested our hard-earned capital, only for MTN to suddenly stop the sharing feature.
This change has affected numerous Muslim and Christian youth. While I understand MTN has the right to adjust policies, altering this policy after we committed to their offer constitutes a breach of business agreement.
As a respected scholar and former Minister of Communication, I'd appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.
Best regards
Nasiru

@MTNNG has exhibited lawless business practices, luring customers into purchasing their products with enticing benefits, only to withdraw these perks subsequently, resulting in financial losses for subscribers.

Dear Mr. President @officialABAT and Honorable Members of the Nigerian Senate @NGRSenate,
I'm writing to bring to your attention a pressing concern regarding MTN Nigeria's @MTNNG, @MTN180 business practices in Nigeria. Under your watch, MTN has been running what appears to be a lawless operation.
The company publicly advertised data plans (1TB, 400GB, and 200GB) with a daily sharing limit of 5GB. However, after attracting a significant number of subscribers, MTN abruptly disabled the sharing feature without notice.
This sudden change has far-reaching implications, potentially harming Nigerian youth and undermining your government's empowerment policies. It's crucial that MTN enables the sharing feature for existing subscriptions before enforcing their new policy.
We urge you to intervene and ensure that MTN Nigeria operates with transparency and accountability.
Best regards,
Nasiru

@ConsumersNCC@MTN180@MTNNG@bosuntijani@Dr_AminuMaida I am writing on behalf of numerous concerned citizens, businesses, and stakeholders across Nigeria to express deep concern over the recent policy changes introduced by MTN Nigeria.
@R3rno@MTNNG@MTN180 we need explanation to this. You cannot just tie people funds and give them 7days grace period without prior notice. That's so unfair!
