@DanNeidle I am spending all my time on small business sales and purchases (buyers largely offshore and backed by US money) ahead of further anticipated CGT hikes.
@DanNeidle “Some”? Private client lawyers have been spending most of their working time advising clients on how to move out of the UK for the past two years. It’s not just an exit tax problem (which would kill entrepreneurship in the UK) it’s IHT too.
@JamesLawre77544 @likesmokenoakum That’s a Black Country Ales pub. A local smallish chain. Pig on the Wall is a beer that they have brewed for them. The pubs don’t sell hot food just good ale, cheese cobs, pork pies etc. Well worth a visit.
Rolls Royce just moved their Jet Engine Manufacturing out of the UK…
That’s 40,000 jobs gone, and £1.6 TRILLION lost for the economy - thanks to Keir Starmer’s high taxes.
Why is our government screwing the UK up?
Going to pin this.
Please be aware that X has been/continues to mess with my account.
I know SOME of you can see my posts, but more often than not, I’m told people see nothing from my account.
I’m told a brief reply or an RT to my posts will help, but who knows?
Merci! 🙏
@DPJHodges I don’t know. Maybe they could legislate? Replace the sentencing council? Have a word with the civil servants responsible for the council? If the aim is to reduce inequality in sentencing replace the judges and magistrates who are responsible for racist sentencing?
@darrengrimes That is a gross pay of 42-44k. So you do sod all and get this or be a police inspector, senior nurse, experienced teacher, electrician, plumber etc. where is the incentive to work.
@campbellclaret The counter factual is that Europe has squandered money on welfare for 40 years whilst US tax payers funded our defence. We should have been leading Europe to be a free trade and defence bloc. Not some onanistic socialist experiment. Reality now biting.
