It seemed absolutely impossible for the Israelites to leave Egypt the land of oppression and slavery. They had lived there for 430 years. But God brought them out.
Yes, He delivered them. And they didn't leave empty-handed. The Bible says they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth (Exodus 12:35–36).
I don't know how long you've been living under oppression, but this is what I know, when God delivers you, as He will, He won’t merely bring you out, you will be restored.
You won't have to start from scratch. The God who delivers is also the God who recompenses. Whatever the enemy has stolen, God is able to restore.
I pray that when my wife speaks about the difficult seasons of our marriage, she speaks of challenges we faced and overcame together—not infidelity, abuse, neglect, or an absent husband. May our struggles strengthen our bond, not break our trust.
Setting a home base that is conducive for kids to thrive during exams is so important. The atmosphere matters. Calm, routine, patience, encouragement and a sense that home still feels safe when the pressure is on.
I’m so glad to have friends who have done this before and who I can lean on and compare notes with. Parenting really does take a village.
Cause ke it’s Alakhe’s first exams but it’s also my first time having a kid write exams 😬
After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don't correct them harshly. Don't rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment.
you’re going to marry a man that wakes you up to love and affection. a man who’s always there to hold you in his arms when you’re feeling overwhelmed and need to be comforted. you’re going to marry a man who shows you unconditional love and loyalty. a man who makes you laugh until you cry bc his personality is so yummy. a true alpha. the man of GOD you can build generational wealth and break generational curses with. and for the first time, you’ll have someone you can completely trust ✨🤍
May we learn to speak gently to our mothers. May we stop demanding perfection from women who were never allowed softness. May we honour them not only on ceremonial days but in how we listen, support and protect their dignity.
If a home is still breathing chances are a woman made herself smaller so others could stand taller.
Give mothers grace.
You must read. Read nonfiction. Read fiction. Read history. Read philosophy. Read psychology. Read banned literature. Read poetry. Read about new technology. Read biography. Read memoir. Read on economics. Read on finance. Reread what you have already read. Read. Reflect. Repeat.
To be honest, my biggest prayer for 2026 is for ease. I don’t have the energy to struggle, and I don’t want to have to, not for a relationship, not for a job, not for money, not for anything.
Please, God, make the whole year soft.
NEPOTIZE ME LORD!!! you’re my father; let them know! put me in places they think i don't deserve, and let them know "my child gets anything and everything he desires."
I saw a Tik Tok video of a woman cleaning her home that said "taking care of what God has already given me, so he knows I appreciate and care for what's to come. No matter where life takes you, you have to learn to take care of what he's given you otherwise, he can't give you more".
This is your reminder🫶🏽
