If the Chagos Surrender does ahead then this government will have failed in two of it's most basic duties: To protect the rights of British citizens and to protect the territorial integrity of our country.
I don't think that should be forgotten going forward.
July 1939: Polish intelligence shared its groundbreaking Enigma discoveries with British and French codebreakers.
Their pioneering work gave the Allies a vital head start in breaking German enciphered communications and helped pave the way for Bletchley Parkโs wartime successes.
Did you know that the foundations of Bletchley Parkโs Enigma story were laid in Poland?
@mogatrons@James1234Mr Apologies both, I was spending time with friends (you know what they are right?).
England as a whole has never had the option to adopt a devolved government, with devolution to the NE being offered, and rejected, in 2003.
Only London and the city regions have devolution though.
The English hate the English government, the Scots hate the English government, the Irish got pissy with the English government about some protocol or whatever and the Welsh... Yeah... Maybe the problem is the English government?
It's great that @andyburnham wishes to devolve powers to "the regions" but what does he mean by that?
Does he mean the current city regions or does he mean, for example, Yorkshire?
Because if it's the latter, I know a poorly written dissertation he might like to peruse...
The Saltire, Europe's oldest flag, the flag of the sovereign nation of Scotland still under illegal English occupation is visible at the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG) cafeteria. Soon a huge Saltire will be present in all UN offices & in Scottish embassies globally.
Hey Europoors. I just got AC installed.
In my garage.
For my dogs.
And I donโt even live in the South.
My dogs live better than you do.
I care more about my dogs than your govt cares about you.
