@BioCytoplasm@thecool_oplast1 Yes, I make pigments but there’s more to it than just color. Those colors attract pollinators and animal that eat colored fruits which help spread seeds and pollen so that more can grow. I’m sure you’ve watched the bee movie to know how the world would be without that.
Did you know that I was first discovered in 1831 from Robert Brown but they didn't even give me a name until 1874 where I was known as what I am, the cytoplasm
I am even useful when cells are dividing because I help transport the genetic information and keep the cells from getting damaged. Another reason nothing could live without me
@deezplastids@thecool_oplast1 the difference is color is your only function while i have an actual purpose in life. I’ll bet a majority of things could survive without you including me
Animal cells are not overrated but you are. Animals nor plants can live without me but you can easily be replaced by @thecool_oplast1 without many consequences. Anyway without me you could not even do your job because you would be flat because a shapeless cell
Wanna know how glucose is broken down when the membrane cannot fit it through for whatever reason. CYTOSOL. Wanna know who breaks it down CYTOPLASM. @BuffPowerHouse you should be thanking me for breaking down glucose
@BuffPowerHouse Shall i ask who helps you to make ATP for the rest of the cell? In order for the mitochondria to make ATP, it needs pyruvate to help with cell linkage going into the mitochondria. From there with the material you can create your precious atp
well the point of being in office is to support people. People want to vote for a candidate that helps out all the cells to do reactions and not just fall apart. Lemme ask you this, what are you gonna do in office?
@BioCytoplasm@thecool_oplast1 Also even though you allow me and the other organelles to function, we still get all the spotlight. Most people forget that you're even an organelle. What exactly do you do your job for because it's certainly not recognition. You basically walk so that everyone else can run.
Many people might ask this question: why vote for cytoplasm? And there is one simple answer, cause I hold EVERYBODY in here! Vote me for keeping y’all suspended!
@thecool_oplast1 your whole “function” wouldn’t even work without me! Dihydroxyacetone phosphate is converted into sucrose after it exits the chloroplast and ENTERS the cytoplasm, without me guess you are #USELESS
Lemme tell you about myself before you vote for me. I am 90% made of water and 10% other organic/inorganic compounds, i have proteins that include enzymes that are 25% soluble, and i can absorb water on the top layer using the plasmogel. Like no one else can even compare to me
