We finally got images uploaded from our April 2023 camera trapping season, which means that SEASON 26 of https://t.co/MEV2nIjoae is now live! We've got cameras downtown, so there is a small chance you might get to see the millennium park foxes! #chicago#cameratrapping
Season 24 of Chicago Wildlife Watch is out today! Come help us identify species in our #chicago#cameratrapping project from our October 2022 sampling season!

@CheloniaGirl @HerpLeague@ssarherps@IchsAndHerps I am currently studying False Map Turtle ecology in the Missouri River in South Dakota! This summer I have specifically focused on the potential predator-prey interaction between False Maps and invasive Zebra Mussels!!!
We're hiring a paid, full-time summer Nature Boardwalk intern (35 hr / week, $14 / hr)! Help monitor night-herons, trap turtles, and camera trap! It's a great summer position for current ecology undergrads looking to get some research experience!

Picture this:
Driving home from #JMIH19 at night in rural Nebraska, hearing the loud popping sounds of leopard frogs/toads exploding as they hit our car and Uprising by Muse is playing THEY WILL NOT DESTROOOOY US WE WILL BE VICTORIOOUUUSSSS.
This is my personal hell
If you aren’t too hung over tomorrow, I’m giving my first #JMIH talk at 8:30 in ballroom 3 and would love to chat about cute frogs and machine learning with you!
After 2 unsuccessful trapping attempts we stopped and asked a toad for directions to the turtles and caught 9 painted turtles! So when in doubt, ask a toad for directions 😉🐢🐸
