I am looking forward to „Visiting“ with the colleagues @YaleChem today, present a lecture and provide a sneak preview of the protoype of a new, faster, smaller and less expensive AGA synthesizer that just passed tests @MpiciPotsdam@BioMolSys
Sad news to hear about the passing of Prof. Jack Dunitz - a curious scientist, a positive influence on all around him and a wonderful mentor even for full professors at ETH. He will be missed!
Thanks to all my current and former group members @MpiciPotsdam@BioMolSys@ETH_DCHAB@ChemistryMIT that made ideas become reality! The award named in honour of the founder of carbohydrate chemistry Emil Fischer is presented in recognition of their work.
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS in #catalysis is open: The #ClaraImmerwahrAward, launched by @UniSysCat in 2011, is an🏆for promoting equity and excellence in catalysis research fostering young female scientists at an early stage of their career. @BioMolSys @PieberLab @InnovativMPIKG
Excited today to be starting my @MSCActions funded PostDoc with @peterseeberger! A big project spanning across two great Max Planck Institutes—get ready for things to get aquatic 🌊 @MpiciPotsdam@MarineMicrobio
Congrats to @GFittolani, Theo, @DenisaVargova and @manishchaube010! Progress and challenges in the synthesis of sequence controlled polysaccharides.

My goal as Vice President of the @dfg_public is to work with all stake holders to ensure the freedom of scientists to pursue cutting edge research and in particular to help junior scientists to develop their careers. This of course requires stable funding of the programs.
Congrats to Soeun, @GFittolani, Yang, and Yuntao for their work on targeted chemical modifications to study #CarbohydrateMaterials!
Another great collaboration with @OgawaEm!

Congratulations from all current and previous members of the @BioMolSys department at @MpiciPotsdam to our Boss @peterseeberger for receiving the Emil-Fischer Medal from @GDCh_aktuell. Very well deserved!
Receiving the @GDCh_aktuell 2020 Emil-Fischer Medal this past week from GDCh president Peter Schreiner made me very happy and very thankful to the many coworkers @ChemistryMIT@ETH_DCHAB@MpiciPotsdam@BioMolSys The official virtual symposium will be held September 1
