Missed another #TreehopperTuesday. Here's a meme I found on FB & slightly amended, as my treehopper PR duties require. Likewise, I'm obligated to suggest bumping treehopper worship up to #3...y'all do y'all tho π

Today was the last f2f lab session (deets below) for the insect ecology course I'm TAing this semester -- mostly analysis from here on out. Despite how unpredictable & exhausting it has been to bring each week's experiment to fruition, I'm very sad to take things virtual!
PLEASE HELP! Do you teach college-level #ecology? I've been developing a tool to measure how instructors approach teaching science & need just a few more college instructors & TAs to take my survey to validate the tool. Thank you! https://t.co/vs49JtkB7j
Found this cutie on a pin oak tree today. Shit pic, but Glossonotus acuminatus slays always. It's 1 of my fave genera, partly bc it includes the 1st treehopper species I ever collected as a ugrad. Squealed today just like I did then. Hope he's ready to πΆ #TreehopperTuesday
@shockme23 I often confuse black oaks with pin oaks...so maybe? I'll double check! Pin oak is one of the more common ornamental oak spp. around campus, so I've called it that for awhile...however, this tree is much older than most. Also, hi!! Didn't realize you were on Twitter!
@onychophora1929 As much as Ceresini is among my less fave tribes of treehoppers, I can never pass up the chance to gawk/photograph the bbs!! Cute lil punks!!
Cute $30 bandanas, proceeds go2 @blacktransusa "the only national organization led by black trans people to collectively address the inequities faced in the black transgender human experience."

Sorry y'all but Starbucks is cancelled until they can act right. #BlackLivesMatter is not a 'political or personal issue'...it's a moral issue, an issue of human rights.
#BoycottStarbucks
Amazing.
The same Starbucks that closed 8,000 stores for racial bias training because of a racist incident in 2018 is now preventing employees from wearing anything in support it Black Lives Matter.
See why we believe so little in racial bias trainings and press statements?
