@JanetMatsen, an ML engineer, and I co-authored a @benchling blog. We looked at the changes in biotech last year and shared our thoughts on what might grow in 2024:

◇ commercial progress with AI in biotech will be slower than tech, but more transformational
◇ LLMs will boost productivity for scientists, just as they have for engineers
◇ the tipping point is here for novel drug modalities, and it will drive an R&D IT reset
◇ techbio community will grow in force and be a catalyst for change with players like @bitsinbio and @NucleateHQ
