The book entitled ‘Connectivity Geopolitics in Nepal: Balancing Aspiration and Trade-offs’ is accessible at https://t.co/nJ9CWcprI8 . This book offers an analysis of Nepal’s connectivity geopolitics, examining the interplay between geopolitics, connectivity, and foreign policy. It highlights how strategically located states like Nepal navigate competing global interests and manage the sovereignty trade-offs inherent in connectivity-driven engagements. Examining two centuries of Nepal’s geopolitical calculations, the book shows how geopolitics around connectivity issues has consistently found its place in foreign policy calculations and how the state has tried to use it as a political means—sometimes for the interest of the political elites, while other times to assert its geoeconomic objectives.
