@MBTYuGiOh My friends and I had to consistently intervene to stop tryhards from scamming kids out of ��good” cards by trading them for cheap cards from the shows. So then we would scam the tryhards… They deserved it.

@blobspike @MBTYuGiOh Card games acknowledging their secondary market, and further marketing toward it (short prints, rarity bumps, etc) are exactly what I hate about pretty much every card game in the US (or west in general, I guess).

@MBTYuGiOh I think it’s fair to say that Yugioh tries to do this already, but they just avoid all of the licensing issues by making archetypes generic versions of those IPs. That being said, I think 3 Musketeers, GI Joe, and Transformers are some big ones they haven’t attempted yet. BARBIE?

@MBTYuGiOh Literally every vanilla HERO should get a retrain, along with text that says “This card is always treated as X” so we can use the terrible support for the vanilla that was already printed.
