Upon their arrival at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, President Isaias Afwerki and his delegation were given a warm official welcome by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
As part of the World Road Safety Week commemoration, 1500 reflectors were provided to kick off the campaign, along with safety materials to enhance visibility and protect road users.
A key highlight of the event was a hands-on demonstration session, where students and teachers learned the importance of proper reflector use. Professional Cyclist Natnael Berhane inspired participants by demonstrating how to correctly attach reflectors and stickers.
The live demonstration engaged students and teachers alike, transforming awareness into practical life-saving knowledge. This initiative underscores the strong collaboration between partners in promoting safe mobility and protecting young lives.
This event served as a powerful reminder that road safety is a shared responsibility, and that awareness, education, and partnership are key to saving lives and promoting a safer, more sustainable environment.
