@edgehill Students were able to carry out these practical experiments, gaining valuable insight into how scientists amplify and analyse DNA. It was an inspiring and enriching experience that brought cutting-edge science into the classroom and sparked curiosity about future careers.

Last week Y12 biologists had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a hands-on biology workshop led by Dr Priyanka More from @EdgeHill. The session focused on two essential techniques in modern molecular biology: PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) and gel electrophoresis.
