A group of our Y7-9 students competed in the Chester and District Cross Country this week. The girls put in a fantastic performance with 6 finishing in the top 20 in their age group meaning they’ve been selected to represent Cheshire at the District championships in February!

Our girls' football team delivered an impressive performance against a tough opponent from Stockport this week, winning the match 5-0. Chloe M stood out by scoring four goals, while Edie B secured the fifth goal. The next round is scheduled to take place at home in November.

Earlier this week Mr Thomas and some of our Y10 students attended a Greek Theatre Enrichment Day at @TheQueensSchool
The day was both enjoyable and enriching, giving students a deeper appreciation of classical theatre while developing their performance and analytical skills.

Year 7 have been working hard in their first Food and Nutrition practical, with a key focus on health and safety and knife skills to make a protein rich, colourful salad.

This week we celebrate the historic appointment of Dame Sarah Mullally as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury — the first woman to hold this sacred office. As she prepares for her formal installation early next year, let us keep Archbishop-designate Sarah and family in our prayers
