Get and Keep Your Healing

• SPEAK LIFE OVER YOUR BODY: “It's absolutely imperative that you speak forth the Word concerning you, because until you do, it will have no power and it won't work.” Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Instead of saying, I am sick, declare, I am strong, healthy, and full of life.

• MEDITATE ON THE SCRIPTURES: Fill your mind with God’s promises, Jeremiah 30:17, Isaiah 53:5, because “One thing is certain, if you stick to the word, you will come back with a testimony.”

• REJECT FEAR AND DOUBT: 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Fear and worry hinder not only healing but every good thing that’s coming your way, but faith activates it.

• VISUALIZE YOUR HEALING: See yourself whole, strong, and healthy. The mind responds to images, and what you focus on becomes your reality. “What you see with the eyes of faith is more real than what you see with your optical eyes”. 2 Corinthians 4-18 (NIV)

• STAY JOYFUL: Joy strengthens the body. Nehemiah 8:10 declares, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Laughter and gratitude release healing power in your life.

Your thoughts play a crucial role in your healing. Just as the placebo effect proves that belief alone can trigger healing, faith in God’s promises can do even more. Hebrews 11:1 tells us, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Even when symptoms persist, maintaining faith-filled thoughts and confessions sets the stage to walk in the reality of divine health. “The way to transform, improve, and upgrade your life is by renewing your mind.”

Beggars Crisis in Oyo Town

Why are there so many able-bodied beggars in Oyo Town?

Males between the ages of 14 and 30 are always at the parking lot of Ace Supermarket, Chicken Republic, Owode Garage, Ajiwunmi Food Canteen, and other places from morning till as late as midnight every day

As soon as they see anybody driving, they swarm the car, crying, "Mr. President, your children will never beg, may you live long, bless us with something."

The ones wearing turbans will cluster around local eateries targetting people who came to patronize such places.

Nobody should say, "It is because of the economic condition of the country, it is not!"

You go to the markets, and there are no head porters to assist you with your loads. (They call them barrow)
You will literally carry your goods yourself to your car

There are many farms, farmlands, and poultries all over the town where these young men can work. They simply don't.

I got into Oyo Town at 11:30 pm one evening and decided to park at Owode to buy some bread. My car was swarmed by able-bodied young men who started begging me for money.

I ignored them and asked a woman who was still selling her wares where I could get bread. The woman called her son, who was about 12 years old, to go and buy me bread beside the NNPC filling station opposite where I had parked.

None of the young men who were begging for money offered to help. They stayed there grovelling and begging me to give them free money until the young boy returned with the bread I sent him.

When the boy delivered the bread, I gave him some money. These beggars intensified their begging. One of them said, "You gave this boy so much money, Mr. Chairman, we have been standing here, and you didn't even look our way."

I said, "You stood there begging when I needed someone to buy me bread. You didn't offer to help me or even direct me to where I could get what I wanted, and you found it comfortable to still beg from me?

They kept quiet.
Some older men who were also present reiterated the same thing to them.
Why would you find begging more comfortable than working?

I grew up in Oyo town, attended Olivet Baptist High School, and this was not the case at the time.
I am happy to state that Oyo town is peaceful, and there is almost no crime

I visited their Police Station in Durbar and witnessed some of the disputes on the ground. The most heinous was an issue over a motorcycle purchased on Higher Purchase, which was retrieved by the seller because the buyer defaulted on his payment.

I spoke with the Head of their prison on how to conduct some CSR with their prisoners, and I was told they have only four female inmates and 420 male inmates.

I visited their Immigration office, and the service they delivered was top-notch.

The road needed some attention (around Owode and Old Oyo - Ilorin road).

The most ugly sight was that of the beggars. A state of emergency must be declared on this issue before it becomes unmanageable

I am asking all the elders, political leaders, religious leaders, and community heads to please look into this begging pandemic

Some of us have invested heavily in Oyo Town, and the sight of these beggars is very discouraging to say the least.

Every human being that’s born into this world has two destinies, a natural destiny and a divine destiny.

Your natural destiny is based on your parentage, nationality, education, peers, environment, and everything that’s natural to this world.

All of these can affect you and determine the course of your life. For example, there are some who are rich, not by virtue of anything that they’ve done, but because of the family in which or to which they’re born. That’s natural destiny at work.

Some people suffer, not because they were responsible for the problem, but because they just happened to live in a particular place.

There are certain places that are filled with crime and violence, and those who live there are victims of the lawlessness. That’s natural destiny. However, there’s the divine destiny, which is based on God’s choice.

Two things affect divine destiny.

The first one is the choice that God makes for the sake of other men. For example, the Bible says God delivered Israel from Egypt by a prophet, and by a prophet, Israel was preserved. God chose Moses to deliver other men.

Then secondly, and more importantly, is the divine destiny that begins when Jesus becomes the Lord of your life.

When you declare the Lordship of Jesus over your life, God has the right to alter the circumstances of your life to align with His perfect will. That’s when He becomes your Father and starts leading you. That’s when He sends His Holy Spirit to live in you and to guide you. You’re thus separated and distinguished from the rest of the world

Being born again, the Lord’s mark is on you; His seal designating you a child of divine destiny; His treasured and favoured possession. You’re not of this world, and therefore can’t and shouldn’t be affected by the natural courses of life; the corruption, evil, and decadence prevalent in this world of darkness. Now your journey in life is one direction only: from glory to glory; upward and forward, as you walk in His Word daily.

This will answer a lot of questions in your heart.

I got a message from my dear sister about a haunted house/location
Her family are living in this house but has no rest
A day, a baby might be crying at the compound
There is absolutely no baby in the compound nor around it
Another night, it will be nightmares
On another night, it could be a presence sitting over people and oppressing them.
When she called me, her family was already fearful of the situation
I told her to go to the land.
''Do not allow anyone to follow you
Go there alone
Pace to and fro in the compound
Pray in the Spirit for some minutes.
When you are done, read Psalms **,**,**
Once you read the scriptures, declare out loud your authority over the land
Take charge of the space
Declare it with your mouth, and you are now in charge"
She went ahead and did this, and the haunters became the haunted
The incident has since stopped, and the house is at peace

The spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord
Your spirit is where dominion lies
The problem with many believers is that we have trained our spirits to be weak rather than dominating
Why is your spirit weak?
You trained your spirit with wrong information
Even when you pray and exercise your authority
Your spirit will not respond
You have never trained your spirit with the word of God
It is your spirit that takes your declarations when you make them
The Holy Spirit then uses this declaration as an instruction to the angels
The angels go ahead and enforce your prophetic declaration
Wrong information are words that are not scriptural, so they cannot be light to your spirit
They can't build your spirit
Teaching a believer that he needs to fast and pray for 200 days to enter 7 realms of power to cast away a demon is not light
The believer would think that if he has not gone through that ritual, he won't be able to dominate, that is not true.
This will make your spirit weak until you feel you've done the 200 days of fasting
This way, you have to rely on that fast to get anything done.

But if you simply train your spirit with the words of Jesus in Mark 16:17-18
"'And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”'
Did Jesus mention any 200 days fast?
Did He say you have to pray for 10 years to exercise dominion over anything?
I am not saying fasting is unbiblical
Fasting will SCALE your spiritual impact, especially if you don't have lots of time for spiritual meditation.
Train your spirit with the scripture as written, undiluted
Train your spirit with the words of Jesus
Just obey Jesus and don't create a theology Jesus did not institute
Then, the Holy Spirit will continue to lead you on from there

Teaching a believer that a demon can make a mess of them
Or a demon can kill them
Or they have to pray every night for 40 days to conquer a demon will make your spirit weak
Your spirit is built by the word of God alone and not the ideas of men
So focus on the word
Condition your spirit with the word alone
Read the word yourself and speak it back to your spirit.

Numbered With The Stars

2 Kings 6:15-17 TLB “When the prophet’s servant got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Alas, my master, what shall we do now?” he cried out to Elisha. “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For our army is bigger than theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes so that he could see horses of fire and chariots of fire everywhere upon the mountain!”
This account of Elisha and his servant facing the Syrian army is so inspiring. The Bible says the king of Syria sent horses, chariots, and a great host by night and surrounded the city (2 Kings 6:14). They came for Elisha, the Man of God. But Elisha understood the Word of God, and therefore he was unperturbed. He knew that there were more angels with them than any force that could be with the Syrians, whether spiritually or physically.
You must come to this understanding and consciousness that those for you are more and greater than those against you. As God’s child, you’re never alone. Hebrews 1:14 says God sent His angels to serve you. You’re surrounded by angels, who, according to the Bible, have been given charge over you, to keep you, that is, protect you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). God’s mighty hand of protection is upon your life; hence it doesn’t matter who or what comes against you, you’re never disadvantaged.
1 John 4:4 says, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” You’ve already overcome the adversary. Be conscious of this truth today and always. Live with the realisation that the Lord, with the innumerable company of angels, is with you, and for you. Therefore, nothing can successfully stand against you.

Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father (Galatians 4:1-2).

Oftentimes, when people read the scripture above, they think it only refers to human leaders. But no; it includes angels. Angels protect and watch over you to ensure your wellbeing, and they report to the Father in heaven. However, when a Christian walks in the flesh and against the Word, angels will stay on the path of righteousness because they are programmed to obey God only.
Remember how Jesus said he had legions of Angels all around him but the angels did not defend him when he was being crucified because his crucifixion was the will of God and He had to subject himself to complete obedience to the will of God so as to fulfil his destiny as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the whole world.
Angels are assigned to believers, but they are programmed to righteousness only. As long as the believer walks in righteousness, he or she has access to angelic intervention at all times. If a believer, however, decides to walk in his own will at any time, the angel of God assigned to him or her will be restrained from intervening when the situation goes bad, and the believer will have to bear the consequences of his action by himself.
Another Example is Apostle Paul. In Acts 16, we saw how angels intervened when he was arrested. The whole prison shook and all the gates were flung open as he and Silas sang praises to the Lord.
However, he went off to Jerusalem of his own will. Despite the warnings from Agabus and the brethren that he should not go to Jerusalem, the Bible recorded that he was arrested, beaten up, almost lynched, and eventually thrown into prison. If you read this account of the scripture very well, you will notice that the only time an angel appeared to Apostle Paul was to encourage him.
There was no dramatic prison break or angelic intervention; the angel just told him that he would not die. He eventually escaped from prison by appealing to Caesar. Also note that as soon as he got on a ship to Europe, the ministry of Angels resumed. An angel appeared to him on a ship and told him the ship would wreck but the lives of all the men would be preserved. We also saw how a snake bit him, and it was of no effect on his body in Malta.

This is why, as a Christian, you must be careful in your life. Refuse to be rude, proud, or arrogant. Don’t disregard spiritual authority and instructions. Angels frown at such things. The Bible specifically tells us to respect authority, because of the angels. Many are facing certain challenges in their lives that wouldn’t go away; and it’s because they’re walking against God’s Word. Until and unless they make a change, there’ll be no solution.
Walk in the wisdom of God by acting on the Word. Honour and revere those the Lord has placed over you to teach and raise you up spiritually. Be quick to act on spiritual instructions. Walk in love. These will strengthen your spiritual effectiveness and enhance the ministry of angels in your life.

One of the most important things that I have learnt over the years, as a Minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, is that it’s better to always keep quiet; rather than opening the mouth to say worthless things.
There are some Christians who are supposed to be keepers of the wisdom of God, but who do like to engage in uttering things that do not build up their own faith and that of others around them. They will often say certain things because they want to be seen as being socially acceptable to those in their world.
They will talk about sickness as being something that God uses to humble people. But the scripture does not agree with them (Exodus 15:26). Sickness is from the devil, just as poverty is from the pit of hell. God is not the one making people poor. Most of the time, it’s the lack of knowledge and understanding of the will of God, which the enemy is using to subject people to such conditions.
But these carriers of God’s wisdom are basically trying to fit themselves into the world, which Christ had saved and delivered them from. By saying such things, they are spiritually endangering themselves and others.
We should make no mistake about it: that the devil does often sow his own seeds through those children of God, who have opened up their hearts to being used by him. Empty, worthless, and faithless words do have the ability to destroy the faith of both the speaker and the listeners alike. Such words do has the ability to cause a lot of damage, to the spiritual growth of other Christians; most especially the new believers in Christ Jesus.
And in most cases, the enemy has sneaked in on those believers, because they had not been guiding their hearts

Angels are on assignment over your words

As the Bible says:
“The words of a priest’s lips should preserve knowledge of God, and people should go to him for instruction, for the priest is the messenger of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”
Malachi 2:7 NLT
Every word that is being planted or spoken by the Minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, does has “the Lord of Heaven’s Armies” assigned to it. There are angels of God that have been sent on assignment, over every word that comes out of the mouth of the righteous man.
These powerful spiritual beings are everywhere around you. They are listening to every word that you are saying, so as to bring the harvest of such words into your life, and into the lives of those listening to you also. They are ministering spirits who have been sent on assignment from the Father, to minister the grace of God over those seed-words from your lips (Hebrews 1:14). They can only do what they hear you say. The angels of God do not have their own will. They can only fulfill the will of the Father, as they hear you confessing it.
The Lord once warned the Israelites about their actions and words in the presence of the angel. He told them:
“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.”

Exodus 23:20-21 NIV
The angels of God do not act on their own authority. They act only on the authority that comes from God, the Father, to them. Note that the scripture text above says – “.. my Name is in him.” The angels of God are always acting based on the authority of the Name, that you are called a child of God. They do acknowledge the presence of God and the Name of Jesus in your life, and they will act only upon the confessions of your lips that match up with the will of God.
And if your words are not matching up with the person who you really are, they are greatly concerned about it (Psalms 8:4-6). Also, if your words are not in line with the perfect will of God for your life, they have the authority from the Father to judge those words until you fall in line with God’s perfect will. That was why God warned the Israelites that the angel would not forgive their rebellion. Angels have the authority of Heaven to judge every rebellious word from the lips of a believer in Christ.
The Bible told us about Zachariah, the father of John the Baptist, who once misspoke in the presence of the angel of God. Angel Gabriel had been sent to him in fulfillment of the purpose of God concerning the birth of John the Baptist. Zachariah had responded to the message from God with unbelieving lips. He struggled to believe the message from the angel (Luke 1:18), that he was to have a son in his old age.
Zachariah and Elizabeth had been standing by faith all their married lives together for a child. Zachariah was a Priest of the Almighty God. His lips were supposed to be guiding and uttering the wisdom of God. But at the moment of the visitation from God in response to his faith, he allowed unbelief to come out of his mouth. The angel knew that if he did not shut up this Preacher’s mouth, he would have kept on confessing the wrong things, about the perfect will of God for Israel and the whole world.
The scripture says:
“And the angel answered and said to him, ‘I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.”
Luke 1:19-20 NKJV
Zachariah was unable to speak until the fulfillment of the promise of God. The angel did not want him to use his mouth as an instrument of the devil. He had to judge the unbelief that came out of his mouth.
There are a lot of Christians like Zachariah today, who are blocking their own miracles and breakthroughs with their lips.
As Jesus said:
“Also, I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.”
Luke 12:8-9 NKJV
“Whoever” in this context does not even refer to the believer alone. Jesus was referring to anyone who will dare to believe and confess His perfect will here on the earth. The angels are in agreement with every confession of your mouth that is in the will of God. But they cannot enforce worthless words that are in obvious denial of God’s purpose for men and women on the earth.

Don’t give room to the devil

The only angel that does act on his own authority in rebellion against God is Satan, and the demons who are working together with him. They are listening to what comes out of your mouth also. Satan and his cohorts are empowered by the worthless words that people around you may be consciously or unconsciously saying.
Be very careful of the people with whom you are associated. Their words around you are like seeds which can affect your harvest from the Lord. Their different lifestyles have the ability to affect the anointing of God over your life also.
The devil and his demons are there to make sure that those fear-based words become harvested in your life. And they are very subtle and deceptive in the way that they operate to entrap Christians into captivity. A child of God needs to be very careful with what people are saying constantly around him or her. Sooner or later, you may start believing in those lies of the devil, if you’re not being very careful.
The angels of God cannot do anything to stop the demonic forces from enforcing the wrong words from your mouth. Fear-based words bring death. And faith-based words bring life and the Shalom (peace) of God:
“For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8:6 NKJV

What you’re sowing on a regular basis is what you will eventually harvest in your life on the earth, and in eternity with God also.
The Preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ does him or herself no good at all if he or she preaches a good sermon in the Church but then starts sowing fear-based words outside of the Church into his community. That’s how carnally minded Preachers often behave. They will present one thing from the pulpit, but they won’t do anything to live by the standard that they are setting for others within their congregations. They are living a double life. And such should never expect anything from God in the harvest.
You can’t be declaring the blessing of the Lord in the Church, but outside of the Church, when you are with your acquaintances in the world, you begin to speak like them. That’s what a double-minded Christian does (James 1:5-8). They talk about the blessing with God’s people, but when they are confronted with the reality of their circumstances outside the Church, they will begin to sow the seeds of the curse and unbelief. They will begin to speak like the very people that God has sent them to in transforming their lives into His own image. Eventually, what they are sowing among such people is what they will reap in the harvest.
As John the Baptist said:
“And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”
Luke 3:9 NKJV
Those types of seeds will eventually hurt and destroy those who are sowing them. As a Christian, you are the light of the world. You are not the light just for the Church, but your light is meant to be shining in the world that you go into on a regular basis for the Father’s business. The world is longing for your light to shine among them. There is no way for light and darkness to mix together. You can never fit into that world, no matter how hard you try to fit into it. You are light and not darkness. Live like a child of the Light.
That’s why as a child of the Light, you ought not to be opening your mouth to speak about the things that God has not told you to talk about. You should rather focus on sowing the seeds that will make Heaven glad, instead of seeking to gratify the desires of the flesh in others. If you do this continually, your light will shine brighter and brighter. And before you realize it, you will find yourself in the midst of the harvest with those words.

A lot of Nigerians think it is a good idea to be bashing Nigeria on X and other social media platforms.
They even get retweeted and reposted and this convinces them that they are doing the right thing
The lot of them are poor and their mindset is also poor so they see Nigeria from their poorly calibrated realities.
It doesn’t matter if they studied and became doctors, lawyers and professors.
Poverty mindset is not mastered by book knowledge, it is mastered by mind renewal.
Imagine someone comparing Ghana to Nigeria..:
Even the president of Ghana and all their leaders wouldn’t dare but one guy who travelled to Ghana and managed to stay in a place outside of his poverty conditioned mindset is suddenly so impressed to the point of talking down on his own country.

There is a reason Esau sold his birthright, in his mind it was not of any significance
The Bible said he sought it later with tears but it was too late
From today, make it a point of duty to see yourself as a part of Nigeria (not just someone born in her and who is dwelling in her), this is why Russians call their country “Motherland” and as harsh and difficult their weather is, they mastered it and prospered.
The secret to prospering in a country lies with the mindset of her citizens.
A lot of Nigerians are unpatriotic and this is reflected from the behaviour of the leaders to that of the citizens.
DANGOTE said something recently and I subscribe to it.
If leaders are patriotic and “corrupt” and they invest the gains of their corruption in their country, the citizens benefit.
Unpatriotic leaders rape the country they profess to serve and they take the gains of the country to another nation because they do not have any love or sense of responsibility towards their country.
Corruption is evil

When Saul wanted to kill the priests of Nob, the Israelites with him refused to carry out the order
It was Doeg the Edomite who carried out the order because he had no patriotic affiliation or connection to Israel and the sanctity of the priesthood.
Once you see anyone bashing your country, unfollow the person!
America is experiencing serious flooding and before now heavy forest fires that destroyed property estimated in their billions
You don’t see Americans typing evil things about their country or comparing their country to Haiti and saying Haiti is better than America.
The evils happening in America daily are much worse than anything Nigerians are experiencing and you don’t see people saying America has happened to them!
I travel all over the world every year, I have never seen any country without its own issues
America is in serious debt as a country. America has several communities without internet facilities and people who sleep on the street in their thousands.
Poverty begins with denigrating your origin.
Once you lose the essence of who you are, you lose the capacity to make the right decisions.
Why do you think many so called Nigerians engage in crime even when they are outside of the country where they have the opportunity to live a better life as advertised by many?
“They convince themselves that their country is not good, so they are also not good and therefore they can only do things that are not good”
Our parents would often say remember the child of whom you are. If however the child sees his or her parents as evil, whenever he or she remembers home, he or she would do evil things because that is what he or she remembers.
Nigeria is a great nation
Nigerians are blessed people
God is in the midst of this great country and this country shall continue to prosper. Amen
