A Chinook just flew straight through an eclipse. 🌑🚁

RAF footage captured a CH-47 Chinook silhouetted against the partially eclipsed Sun on August 12, 2026—turning a routine training flight into an absolutely unreal aviation shot.

The twin rotors cut across the glowing crescent as the helicopter slowly drifts through frame, creating a silhouette that looks almost too perfect to be real.

Engineering meets astronomy.

You could plan a shot like this for years and still struggle to get it this perfect.

Qué auténtica locura de vídeo.

Dos cazas de combate EF-18 Hornet y un avión A-400M del Ejército del Aire y del Espacio 🇪🇸 captaron el eclipse solar durante una misión de entrenamiento en la tarde/ noche del 12 de agosto.

Ver este fenómeno desde estas aeronaves debe haber sido una experiencia brutal.
