Address poisoning is one of the easiest ways to lose your crypto.
Attackers don’t hack your wallet. They manipulate behavior.
One careless copy-paste can cost everything.
Here’s how to avoid it ↓

Another data breach.
This is exactly why BitInPeace is privacy focused and built to avoid storing personal data.
You shouldn’t have to trust companies with your identity.
Privacy matters.
Community alert: Ledger had another data breach via payment processor Global-e leaking the personal data of customers (name & other contact information).
Earlier today customers received the email below.
This is why you should never share your wallet password.
Not with your partner. Not with anyone.
Life changes. Shared secrets fail.
Use separate wallets and clear inheritance rules.
Control while alive. Transfer only when you no longer have access.
That is BitInPeace model.
Your #Bitcoin is valuable. Do not let it get lost.
Jennifer Garner will star in ONE ATTEMPT REMAINING, a new comedy feature directed by Kay Cannon (Blockers).
Years after an acrimonious divorce, two exes discover that the cryptocurrency they won together on a cruise is now worth millions...but they've forgotten the password.
A call to non profit organizations that support people in need.
Bitcoin carries a long tradition of helping communities and supporting meaningful causes.
At @bitinpeace we believe Bitcoin inheritance planning should reflect people's values. The principles that guide someone in life should continue even after they pass away.
Many of our users, including survey participants, said they want to donate a small part of their stack to a cause they believe in.
We want to make that simple.
Donation will be an optional part of legacy planning.
Human Rights Foundation (@HRF) and @OpenSats are already confirmed on our list. If you represent a non profit organization and want to be included, you can reach out to me and we will review it together.
We never decide where people donate.
We only make it easier for those who want to give back.
496 people joined our inheritance survey 🧡
64% said Yes to donating a small part of their stack.
26% said Maybe, depending on the cause.
That means 90 percent willing to give back to the community.
This is even more than we expected and fully aligned with what we believe in at BitInPeace.
Donation options for #Bitcoin are now on our roadmap.

Creating a #Bitcoin inheritance plan is easier than you think:
• Connect your wallet
• Choose your heirs
• Set inactivity period
• Pre-sign your transfer
BitInPeace handles the execution when inactivity is confirmed.
Simple. Secure. Non-custodial.

Had a really good evening at Alpha Evenings x Treasury event hosted by @BybitEU.
The Bitcoin community in Amsterdam keeps getting stronger ⚡️
Enjoyed talking with @khingoei from @Treasury_BTC, @gazza_jenks from @Cointelegraph, @pvoogt from The Dutch Bitcoin Embassy, Jos Lazet from @blockrise, and others shaping Bitcoin in Europe.
Had a great chat with Gareth about Bitcoin and what we’re building at BitInPeace, looking forward to continuing that at @BitcoinConfEUR in Amsterdam next week.
Also spoke with Meyade Curfs from @Bybit_Official about off-ramp options our users have been asking for. Maybe collaborating with Bybit! We’ll see.
496 joined our #Inheritance Survey 🙌
65% want their family to receive as crypto.
82% would accept fiat via a regulated partner.
We got the message. #Bitcoin inheritance is already here. We’ll cook for fiat and let you know when it’s ready 🫡

A quick recap of what happened:
A well-known trader, @TheWhiteWhaleV2, had his MEXC account frozen for months with over 3M USD locked under vague “risk control” rules. Despite constant follow-ups, nothing moved until @zachxbt brought attention to it publicly.
Only after heavy community pressure did MEXC’s CSO, @cecilia_hsueh, admit they messed up and release the funds.
He was lucky because of his influence and support. Most users would not get that chance.
This shows again why self custody matters. Centralized exchanges can freeze your funds, delay withdrawals, or vanish completely.
Hold your own keys and make sure your family can access them if something happens to you.
Don’t leave your hard-earned coins to organizations. Inherit them safely.
Happy ending this time 👇
We fucked up.
We apologize to @TheWhiteWhaleV2 , and his money is already released. He can claim it at any time.
I messed up in communicating with him. I got emotional, and I shouldn’t have.
Since I joined MEXC 2 months ago I’ve been fighting behind the scenes to get MEXC to change. We grew really fast—a few years ago, we were a very small exchange, but given our current scale, our risk, operations, and PR teams have not kept up.
We’re going to change that. I’ve been driving the leadership team to recognize the issues, identify changes we need to make and improve on our transparency. After this, they’re now listening and they all acknowledge that MEXC has to change.
Stay tuned. More updates are coming.
For now, I’m sorry to White Whale and to his community.
@icolbt@TheWhiteWhaleV2@zachxbt Exactly it is. You dont have keys, you dont have control. They decide whether you can touch your “virtual” coins on the screen.
Rewards have been distributed 🎉 Thanks to everyone who joined! Hope you enjoyed it, and feel free to share your feedback.
Stay tuned for the next quest 👀

BIT FACT: In 2010, someone tried to auction 10,000 #BTC starting at $50 USD.
Nobody bid. The auction ended with zero buyers.
Those coins would be worth $1.1 B today 💀
One of #Bitcoin’s earliest missed fortunes, lost to disbelief.
