📢 The BitTorrent brand upgrade is officially live, alongside the completion of the 1st quarterly $BTT buyback and burn.

BitTorrent now operates as the unified primary brand, consolidating content distribution, decentralized AI inference compute services, and Layer 2 infrastructure into an integrated service loop for Web3 and AI.

Concurrently, 100% of Q3 revenue generated from decentralized services has been utilized to buy back and permanently burn 21,621,611,570,729.6 $BTT(~$7.6M) from circulation.

The simultaneous deployment of a unified master brand and a deflationary economic model marks a structural shift, aligning long-term architectural scaling with transparent economic sustainability.

Burning Tokens, Building Value: Can Deflation Alone Sustain Crypto Growth? 🔥

Token burns have become a familiar part of crypto economics. Reducing supply sounds like a straightforward way to strengthen token value. But does scarcity alone make an asset more valuable?

While buybacks and burns can reshape tokenomics, long-term sustainability also depends on what drives people to use, hold, and participate in an ecosystem. Can token burns support sustainable growth without strong utility, adoption, and economic activity behind them?

Join https://t.co/E4QwBX9M8G, @DeFi_JUST, @BitTorrent, and @WinkLink_Oracle as we bring together builders and industry voices to explore the relationship between token supply, real utility, and long-term value creation in crypto.

On October 16, BitTorrent completed the first round of its #BTT Buyback & Burn program, officially announced on October 17, 2026.

Here are the confirmed figures:

➜ 21,621,611,510,729.6 $BTT permanently burned.

➜ $7,600,907 in estimated value at the time of the burn.

➜ Approximately 2.18% of total supply burned.

➜ 100% of revenue generated from BitTorrent's decentralized services allocated to the program under its announced framework.

This goes beyond removing tokens from circulation. It introduces a direct connection between the revenue generated by BitTorrent's services and the supply of its token.

Let's break down how it works. 🧵👇
