To the wonderful members of the Uganda Law Society handling election petitions, I know this is an intense and demanding period for all of us. The pressure is immense, the hours are long, and the responsibility to our clients is significant.

The legal profession is facing a real crisis. Thousands of young lawyers are already without meaningful work, while nearly 500 more are enrolled every year. In five years, unless we act deliberately, the number of unemployed and underemployed lawyers will run into many thousands.

This moment demands purposeful leadership, practical solutions and the deliberate creation of new opportunities for our members.

We will confront this challenge. We will create realistic avenues for work, growth and prosperity.

We will - and yes, we can. Members First.
