Most people think their private group chats and assets are safe from state surveillance, but relying on centralized apps and legacy laws leaves your entire Bitcoin operation exposed to government overreach.
In this new episode, Renata Rodrigues (@lobaestrangeira) and Daniel (@inahcitadel) explain how communities are walking away from this trap by building un-surveillable networks and off-grid physical sanctuaries.
Organizing a community on standard messaging apps creates a massive honeypot for regulators, but the open-source Fedimint protocol fixes this vulnerability by allowing you to run secure, zero-custody financial federations. We map out the exact mechanics used to hide group transaction data, which shows how parallel economies can successfully bypass currency bans.
Because digital privacy requires a physical backup, Daniel breaks down the engineering behind the INAH Citadel, which is a 230-acre sovereign outpost in Mexico.
He explains how their team used specific legal trust frameworks to secure absolute land ownership and total water independence.
The parallel infrastructure required to opt out of the legacy system is being built on the ground right now, and you can find the full episode links below 👇

Before Bitcoin became legal tender in El Salvador, it was simply a small community experiment in the fishing village of El Zonte. 🌊
Now its story has inspired Bitcoin communities around the world. 🔥
At Bitcoin FilmFest 2026, watch Bitcoin Beach: From El Salvador to Global Mission, a documentary tracing the movement from a local circular economy to global inspiration. 👀

Doing what we love most: showcasing El Salvador.
An incredible week hosting investors, exploring real estate opportunities, development projects, and the growing investment ecosystem that is transforming our country.
Beyond the projects, we shared the lifestyle, energy, and opportunities that make El Salvador such a special place to live, invest, and build.
Grateful to God for the work, the connections, and the opportunity to keep opening doors and creating meaningful experiences.
The best is yet to come. @goodlife_sv

While many people are still trying to understand Bitcoin, the youth at the Bitcoin Ekasi Center in Mossel Bay are already learning it in the classroom. 📚⚡️
Bitcoin diploma students are gaining real knowledge about money, technology, and the skills that most adults in this country were never taught — skills that can empower them for life. 🧡

The Bitcoin Valley in @AfribitKibera is a wonder of the world.
Ronnie and I came up with the idea to convene a conference to showcase how Bitcoin is used as everyday money in East Africa after he took me through this street.
At @btcnairobi_conf, we will have a full-day “walking conference” to experience the Kibera circular economy (26 June 2026).
This video is my why for organizing a conference, to inspire all people from across East Africa(we will bring representatives from 7 countries) and the world.
Thanks to @GorillaSats & @daudi_bakka, we created a highlight of what people will experience that day and, for those who might not attend, a summary of the amazing Bitcoin work happening.

The coolest thing happening in El Salvador right now? Young Salvadorans — born there and in the diaspora — are going BACK to build. Startups. Restaurants. Real estate. Tourism. The brain drain is reversing. The next generation is betting on El Salvador. 🇸🇻
