@remcoros@start9labs I wonder if there’s something in Sparrow that’s different from Cake that makes the history on Cake not seen on Sparrow. They both come up with the same sp1q string for the silent payment address though.
@remcoros@start9labs I tried deleting the wallet and setting it back up. I set the birth date for a few weeks before I received my first silent payment on Cake Wallet. It took about three minutes to scan. It showed my payments in and out today, but not my old ones from about 15 months ago on Cake.
@remcoros@start9labs I did set it to scan from before the wallet was created on Cake.
But I know it’s working at least for the transaction I sent today it today.
@remcoros@start9labs Also, I loaded a seed phrase from a Cake wallet into Sparrow that had previously received and subsequently spent UTXOs using silent payments and that transaction history did not come up in Sparrow even after scanning from before those transactions happened. Is this expected?
@remcoros@start9labs Upon startup, the logs said “no GPU detected,” so it used the CPU. Is that because my machine has an iGPU rather than a dedicated GPU?
@BobMurphyEcon I think the wording of the question influences how people answer. If it was “Everyone who presses red survives, and everyone who presses blue dies unless more than half press blue,” I think a lot of people would choose differently, even though it’s logically equivalent.
@BTCBreadMan There are sections of the OT that you would think are NT. Focus on Messianic prophesy for the OT and the Gospels for the NT and ask yourself how men who lived hundreds of years before Christ could have known so much about him.
