A first step for Bitcoin adoption in the Swedish Parliament

The Swedish Parliament recently hosted an informative Bitcoin seminar, organized by @DennisDioukarev. The event featured excellent presentations from @satmojoe, @bitcoin_advies @JAN3com, and marked an important step as #Bitcoin enters the political stage in Sweden.

A member of the Danish Bitcoin Policy Institute was present, and we see this as a valuable opportunity to strengthen Nordic cooperation. We look forward to supporting similar initiatives at the danish parliament in the near future.

@BTCBULLRIDER We recently had some AI agents try to predict how Danish politicians would score on this test, compared with Brandon’s research. The results were pretty interesting and aligned well with what we expected.

Danish politicians vs Bitcoiners. We ran the numbers. The cognitive gap is real.

We analysed the personality types of all 179 members of the Danish parliament using AI agents across 1,800 data points.

Then we compared them to Bitcoin researcher @Bquittem 's survey of 1,497 Bitcoiners.

The gap is striking.

INTJ and INTP account for 57% of all Bitcoiners. In the Danish parliament, they represent just 12%.

Meanwhile, 40% of parliament are SJ sentinel types. Among Bitcoiners, that same group is almost nonexistent at 6%.

Bitcoin is understood by intuitive people who think in systems, reason from first principles, and plan across long time horizons.

The danish politicians who will regulate bitcoin lean toward Sensing types, anchored in precedent, institutions, and what already exists.

That is the cognitive gap standing between Bitcoin and sound policy in Denmark.

This is why the Danish Bitcoin Policy Initiative exists, and now we know exactly which politicians we should spend our time on first.

Last week we spoke about Bitcoin at the largest business university in Copenhagen.

Several bank employees, students, and even a Danish politician were present throughout a 30 minute presentation, where we walked through the problems in monetary history that Bitcoin was created to resolve.

We wrap up the evening with a panel focused on improving Denmark’s #Bitcoin tax framework.

A big thanks to the team at @CBScph for making this possible.

The conversations about Bitcoin's inevitable impact on society are now beginning to take place in the institutions that will shape Denmark's future.

Listen to what this Danish politician had to say about Bitcoin mining.

Denmark has a grid problem. But hidden inside that problem is an opportunity most politicians haven't noticed yet.

This weekend we sat down with @SteffenFrolund one of the few politicians who understands how #Bitcoin mining can turn surplus energy into profit, and fund the grid improvements Denmark desperately needs.

He made one thing clear: we need to prove this works on Danish soil. That is the exact reason @Orangewheel_ joined the @ECDtwit network, to work side by side with Danish energy producers and make that first pilot project a reality.

Last week, we were present at the Danish Parliament.
Next week, we’ll be at the Swedish Parliament... Bitcoin in focus!

We were invited to a digital assets event at the Danish Parliament and were pleased to see the growing interest and dialogue. Still, we couldn’t help noticing the heavy use of “crypto” and “blockchain” buzzwords

At the Danish Bitcoin Policy Institute, one of our key focus areas will be to highlight the crucial distinctions between #Bitcoin and crypto in both public and political discussions.

Next week, we will attend a Bitcoin adoption seminar in the Swedish Parliament, where Joe Bryan and the JAN3 team will be speaking. Our goal is to build bridges with Swedish policymakers and to help bring Joe, the JAN3 team, and the bitcoin-only dialogue to the Danish Parliament in the coming months.
