Read Aldous Huxley’s Island. Here’s his description from 60 years ago of the family situation in our centralized fiat system.
“Take one sexually inept wage slave, one dissatisfied female, two or (if preferred) three small television addicts; marinate in a mixture of Freudism and dilute Christianity; then bottle up tightly in a four-room flat and stew for fifteen years in their own juice.”
Agree completely, yet the challenge is that when you extend a hand to encourage ppl to take that first step on the bridge, they often refuse or spit in your hand. Those who have been manipulated the most and are in great pain have often misidentified the cause and are arrogantly insistent on the wrong source. Been there many times. This avidya of the loud arrogance of ignorance is frustrating when one is trying to extend a hand to cross the bridge into the light. 🙏
@LanternBitcoin@BitcoinconfIRL I really enjoyed it last year, but I won't make it this year. Have fun spreading the message. I found ppl were very receptive to buying books. I sold all I brought. Good luck.
@CedYoungelman@_BitcoinMatrix Thank you Cedric. Glad you enjoyed it and to have the opportunity to meet you and gift a copy at the @CdnBitcoinConf. Let me know if you want to talk about it sometime. And, of course, would be honored to have you post an Amazon review. Be well!
Exactly. If you recall, this is a major theme (and hope for humanity) that I express in my book that we discussed on your pod last year. The Bitcoin path is ultimately the opportunity for all of us to go deeper and live our own Hero's Journey and delve into the bigger spiritual questions of life.
@SimonDixonTwitt Agree. I have a chapter in my book titled, “Money is not the Root” discussing the misinterpretation of the idea that money is evil. Love to send you a copy @SimonDixonTwitt if you’re open to it.
As the Gita teaches, all we can control is how we show up. The fruit (or lack thereof) of our efforts does not belong to us anyway.
Look forward to reading more of your work and listening to your pod. I posted the link on Nostr also (not sure if you are on it). A smaller but sometimes better group of “swine” (no offense to pigs intended).
If your feed brought you to this and your mind and heart are open enough to go beyond the usual inane posts, I encourage you to dive deep into this article and explore things more profound than our trivial individual or collective experiences in a particular point in time.
What we are living through is far more than a political, economic, or social crisis. It also goes far beyond any psy-op or grand conspiracy.
We are at an evolutionary threshold. It is a crisis of meaning, a collective dark night of the soul, the end of an age, and the birth pains of something new.
In this new long-form piece, I weave together Esoteric Christianity, the Yuga Cycle, Ekpyrosis, and Sri Aurobindo’s revelation of the descent of the supramental consciousness to explore what this time of transition really is about and what it is asking of us.
Contents:
- The Collective Dark Night of the Soul
- What Is the Time of Transition?
- The Great Year and the Yuga Cycle
- The Ekpyrosis Phase of the Transition
- Climate Change, Geoengineering, and Cosmic Cycles
- A Dark Night of Civilization or the Fire of Inner Purification
- The Alchemy of Inner and Outer Transformation
- The Descent of the Supramental Consciousness
- The Split Within Humanity
- Spiritual Warfare & The Battle for the Human Being
- The Birth Canal of a New Humanity
This is a deep and long read, not something to skim. Take your time with it.
