As most of us have noticed, the winds are quite brutal today and they’re harder for some of us than others. Officers Mills and Middlebrooks happened to be in the right place at the right time this morning to assist some of our most vulnerable community members who were trying to load their groceries and themselves on a bus.

The bus driver emailed us this afternoon to say, “Your Officers Mills and Middlebrooks performed outstanding assistance during high wind to get my seniors and their groceries on board my bus. It was impressive unsolicited assistance. Please thank them.”

Kudos to Officers Middlebrooks and Mills for lending a helping hand
