Blazing temperatures at Cas today, really affected Saints due to them having very few Southern Hemisphere imports and relying on home grown talent instead, unlike Cas.
Ultimately cost Saints but Mav fully expects the club continue to develop youth for the good of the game.
I'd already accepted the loss pre kickoff, so I've been watching this calmly. I can therefore say with a degree of objectivity that this is fucking shite.
But, honestly, better than I thought. Team's been battered to bits and lots of new players. Poor but OK, if that makes sense

My bad, 6-58 in 3 halves of rugby at home.
How about we just don't be arse for 40 mins. These are shit, but we're shitter. If we decide to be good we'll fold them.
Ryan Carr can talk a good game but that man is 90% fucking hot air. Two bumper grounds at home in a row, and 0-60 in 3 halves of rugby *so far*. Talk about being proud of our home, this is dogshit.
I would like Castleford to have the rugby ball for a second. Some dogshit calls going against us (not the sin bin, that was nailed on) and Hull have not had to work for this at all... but fuck me can we not back up a good performance.
@chrisholme1983 Agreed completely. For or against Cas I generally have no idea what the threshold or the trigger for the call is, and we've had enough time that there should be clarity for fans by now. Gives refs too much agency to 'interpret' how a game should be going.
Well Cas have made me look a right twat for moaning now, and I couldn't be happier they did. Good things do happen to good people sometimes, it seems #COYF (I'm referring to other Cas fans, obviously)
