This. You tell people PageRank is dead and Reddit gets this. Dear SEO Influencers: telling people PageRank is dead is not viable. On-site SEO is not SEO - Everyone is making a claim to be first. In society we rely on 3rd parties. If you're an SEO thought leader and you think that Google will evaluate pages and rank them based on their own claim - this is not a technology issue on Google's part - this is a logic issue on your side. A page cannot be the claim AND the proof for its claim to rank first. Period. Aristotle figured this out 2000 years ago - today's your day.
