Story Time! I’m a writer, reader, & mama #reading#booksforkids on #youtube. My hero is Mr Rogers and I’m creating videos he would love 🌺🐝 Send me your book!
Struggling with your toddler’s outbursts? Kids have the same emotions we have as adults, without any of the tools to handle them.
I like to think about what I like to hear when I am MAD AF and come up with a child friendly way to say that to the little one.
FOUND: A lost unicorn at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2. Lost & Found was closed so they’re currently safe & sound in a temporary London home. Seems very well loved so would love to reunite with owner if possible. RTs appreciated! Can we make some magic happen?
One of the reasons I decided to start my YouTube channel is because I read to my kids SO MUCH & they often have insights that I wanted to share with the world. But I’m not sure my format is really connecting 😕
What would you like to see? What do you think would work better?
@HonestToddler One of our favs. When I first read it to my oldest he said, “I feel seen,” lolol. He wanted to read it for YouTube together 🥰 https://t.co/M8PM6oSPJk
If your cries went unanswered as a baby, or yours were met with anger, you will absolutely have a harder time reacting appropriately to the normal cries babies make.
Crying is the normal way babies have communicated since the beginning of humans.
We don’t stop another human from communicating. We meet their need, we hold space, we listen and lovingly wait.
You deserved the same when you were a baby. All babies deserve it.
Whenever I see grown adults overreacting about babies crying in public, my heart breaks for that adult bc it is likely that adult didn’t get held or loved enough when they cried as a baby.
@theandrewgurza Chonic illness and invisible disability 🥰
