@kukudioh @Alphamy_MK @DreamcastGuy I definitely did say fans complained about the remakes btw. But I should explain. People said let’s go had a terrible gimmick. Personally hate that one, but the games is interesting. The new gimmicks like Z moves, mega evolution, dynamaxing, they just don’t seem to stick.

@kukudioh @Alphamy_MK @DreamcastGuy If you do not like the direction the remakes took, then get legends. Everyone says they are mad because they want progress. Well these are remakes, let them make them faithful while also moving forward with new ideas in new games.

@TheDJTC @DreamcastGuy Hey it sold. Heck it sold me at first. But, everyone who’s been playing Pokémon for awhile knows, it sold because it was the first console Pokémon (other than coliseum and take of darkness that everyone forgets about).

@TheDJTC @DreamcastGuy So you seem like you want a battle system where you can control the Pokémon more. I do to, trust me. But honestly I don’t want to see that in a remake. I also don’t want a remake that’s like a free to play game on my phone. LGEP, are fun games, just not my thing.

@roxxmaru @DreamcastGuy Honestly that’s fine. But give it a chance when it hits its low second hand price. Which is not a long period. Look for the gameplay changes, look for effort where effort matters. Not just because it’s not the same style as SWSH, or even sun/moon.

@TheDJTC @DreamcastGuy I said they miss Pokémon not the chibis. However if they can make a good game with that art style, then I say great. Modern Pokémon sells great for minimum effort with gameplay. I want to see that change. Make the games engaging, idc how it looks after that.

@TheDJTC @DreamcastGuy Yeah I’m glad you enjoyed let’s go, but I personally, just me, hated that approach. I absolutely did not want a let’s go sinnoh. Let’s see how the gameplay of these remakes goes, if they can nail the gameplay, then I don’t mind them jumping back to full 3D models.

@Alphamy_MK @DreamcastGuy I have to respectfully disagree with that. I also loved diamond. I was amazed at the trailer showing me my childhood but bringing it to me in a new way. Yea it’s not a crazy overhaul but It makes me want to re explore everything with the new graphics.

@Alphamy_MK @DreamcastGuy I will say, you should simply buy these remakes IF you want to take part in events. Or if you’re like me and simply loved diamond and pearl. If you didn’t love them, then don’t buy them. Get Legends when it comes out. Get the different experience.
