NBA salary cap reform proposal: 2 separate salary pools: 1 for drafted players, 1 for acquired talent (trades/FA). No luxury tax/apron penalties for maxing drafted players. Penalties only hit acquired talent pool, with limits to curb spending there #NBATwitter@HPbasketball
@GnDsville Totally agree. I'm not in the blame Trump camp (again, those people ARE that stupid), but think his approach - or at least the approach he's announced to date - to solving the issue is based less on economic feasibility and more on appeasing the MAGA base, which is...worrisome.
@YourAnonCentral Best of 5 series - Home team (incumbent) gets 3 hosted by network of their choice, away team (challenger) gets 2 with a network of their choice. All audience questions, no moderator, and winner (via national poll) gets a 1 hour special broadcasted on every network after the win.
2mo update: ISM continues downward trend (not pictured ISM employment which hit 43.4, only seen 3x - dot com, GFR & COVID - over the last 25 years). Savings rate ticking lower, leading indicator still <-5. Markets realizing AI business models are flawed. It's beginning to break.
Economic data is at an inflection point. #Fed can't do much at this juncture to reverse negative consumer trends unless they pivot from "higher for longer" quicker than expected. If not, a "soft landing" is becoming increasingly unlikely. Employment is last line of defense ATM.
@EdKrassen@ChayaRaichik10@FBI@DHSgov He's wearing a Hezbollah shirt pointing finger guns at a Jewish person...pretty clearly violates laws related to hate speech, incitement, or intimidation.
@AlessioUrban Economic data flashing warning signs would be an understatement. Solely from an economic perspective, we're embarking on difficult times. Watch participation rate - up 2% from COVID lows, still 1% below 2020. Will drive unemployment higher, reduce savings rate, retail sales, etc.
