Residents of Wickie Wackie in St Andrew are fuming.
Despite the auburn colour of water flowing from their pipes for years, and instances of frequent lock-offs, they say they are still expected to pay National Water Commission (NWC) for the contaminated substance. And the fact that the problem has not been resolved has only made matters worse.

Driving past Annotto Bay Cemetery in St Mary, a peculiar sight catches your eye: life-size cut-outs of the deceased standing guard over their graves — a popular trend that is said to both help in locating burial sites as well as keep the memories of loved ones alive.

The devastation is extensive. In St James, roads show extensive damage littered with debris. Meanwhile, in Westmoreland, a large tree blocks the Frome Main Road, where firefighters and soldiers work to clear the scene. Another tree fell on a bar on Frome Main Road and a car wash at Ricketts River.

Here's what we're going to do to help with relief efforts across Barbados, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Grenada, and those affected across the region:
Kwanda villagers will vote this week to put together a donation that will be sent to grassroots organisations on the ground co-ordinating relief efforts.
We're cash-strapped, so it's not a lot, but I'm sure it will be appreciated nonetheless.
We've partnered with @BlackCuratorial , @BlackEatsLDN, Twossaints & West India Cinema to host a fundraiser to help with relief efforts: https://t.co/JyV7BpONFm
The money raised will go towards helping local fishermen in Barbados to buy new boats, support roofing and housing materials for people in Carriacou, Union and Grenada and well as St Vincent to rebuild their livelihoods and homes.
We'll distribute the funds raised across the region, ensuring they reach grassroots communities and people directly.
The Hurricane is now a category five and on its way to Jamaica. So we'll be looking to see what we can do to help in Jamaica, too, if needed.
This is as far as we can stretch right now with the resources we have, so please also look at the following support points:
