50,000 heterosexual Black men were tested for HIV in 2019 and only 37,000 were tested in 2022, a 27% drop.
This needs to change to make sure everyone living with HIV can benefit from treatment.

More than 13,000 fewer heterosexual men of Black ethnicities were tested for HIV in 2022 compared to 2019. This is concerning as this might leave some men living with undiagnosed HIV thus missing out on treatment.

The latest @UKHSA data shows a drop in new HIV diagnoses amongst gay and bisexual men of Black ethnicities. Combined with an increase in HIV testing, this is promising news.
