NEW: Charles Hoskinson says "I'm heading over to talk to Google, I'll be at Mountain View all this week. I go every year for a wonderful cryptographic conference that they hold. A lot to discuss about progress on Nightstream, Midnight, selective disclosure, lots of cool stuff."
Brian's right, and the vote's only 14 days away 📅

"Whine about Sri Lanka"
I'm mad that Sri Lankan Armed Forces literally r@pe Tamil men women and children, and that in 2009 they herded Tamil civilians into No-Fire Zones and bombed them relentlessly, killing 150K
You know, like what Israel is doing to Palestinians in Gaza now
Before Standardisation, there was Sinhala Only.
The 1956 Act made Sinhala the sole official language. Then the 1972 and 1978 Constitutions entrenched a unitary state and gave Buddhism the “foremost place”. In 1983, the Sixth Amendment narrowed Tamil political space further.
Tamil political alienation did not appear overnight. It was shaped by decades of laws, constitutional choices and state policies that narrowed equality and representation.
Australian Greens Senator David Shoebridge has urged the Australian government to raise the Chemmani mass grave site with Sri Lanka in bilateral discussions and at the UN Human Rights Council to ensure that there is an independent investigation in to the graves.

Why are Tamils in TN who act holier than thou, most of the times, never talked about such kind of macabre killings of their own ilk & raise voice ?
Something massive is cooking on cardano $ADA. 🤯😱
Cardano Defi is cooking. A lot of people will be shocked and miss out.
Remember, Cardano has no VCs. Just pure community and real users not bots
EVM is coming to Casper's L1, running side by side with what's already there.
Most chains make you pick a virtual machine.
Casper's running two, so Solidity developers get Casper's settlement without leaving Solidity.
On DevNet now.
Krishanthy Kumarasamy was only 18.
On 7 September 1996, she was returning home after an examination when she was detained at the Chemmani security checkpoint, repeatedly raped, strangled and buried.
Her mother Rasammah, her 16-year-old brother Pranavan, and family friend Siddambaram Kirubamoorthi went looking for her. They too were detained, murdered and buried at Chemmani.
Their bodies were recovered and identified, and the convictions were later upheld by the Supreme Court. But the case also exposed something much larger.
On 31 August 1999, convicted soldiers led investigators through Chemmani and Jaffna, identifying 14 locations as alleged burial sites. One said he had seen around 50 civilian bodies in a bunker.
The disclosures did not lead to wider accountability.
Other events recorded on 31 August show how military occupation continued to shape Tamil life.
In 2003 and 2004, displaced Tamil families and civil organisations demanded the return of coastal homes, farmland, schools and roads kept under military control.
On 31 August 2009, Tamil journalist J.S. Tissainayagam was sentenced to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment under the Prevention of Terrorism Act after writing critically about the military’s treatment of Tamil civilians. Amnesty International declared him a prisoner of conscience.
Today, we are once again looking at Chemmani.
583 sets of human remains have now been exhumed. That does not mean 583 people have been identified. Many still have no name, and their families still have no answers.
Krishanthy and her family were found.
How many other families are still waiting to learn whether someone they love is buried at Chemmani?

As an Eelam Tamil war survivor, I say this: “all communities” must not blur the reality of Tamil families who have waited for years for their disappeared loved ones.
They don’t need solidarity alone. They need truth, accountability and justice.
Where are our loved ones?
I HAVE BEEN SO VINDICATED IN COMPARING ISRAEL TO SRI LANKA
OH MY GOD
For context, Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Sri Lankan Ben Netanyahu, has retired from politics, and his son is now the main candidate for his party
