I
-pick up litter when I see it
-allow people in front of me in line if there is reason to
-hold doors open for people and if the person is a
woman or elderly and there are two sets of doors (vestibule) I’ll ask them to pause inside the first set of doors allowing me time to get ahead of them and open/hold the second set of doors
-I don’t park in handicap spots but I DO prefer the oversized handicapped bathroom stalls.
-no graffiti
-no pets
-service workers get treated with same basic respect all people get, no better no worse.
-don’t lie/cheat/steal because I know that if I did, it would make me a liar/cheater/thief…..why would I choose that for myself?
@omgsidewalks Don’t forget vacations. People earning minimum wage should be able to afford to get away sometimes and relax. And vet bills, don’t forget about that, people on minimum wage should be able to take care of their pets. Lol.
I don’t know you, but I’d give huge odds that you are disingenuously and intentionally misrepresenting Matt’s work, and if pressed, you would parse out tiny pieces of text from his articles to fit into the narrative you are trying to craft. Problem is, that dog won’t hunt anymore. One of things you forfeit when succumb to the whole “gender is a social construct” and think men should be allowed in women’s shelters and locker rooms and prisons….you forfeit all credibility!!! Not just on that one issue, but on ALL issues!!!”
@Owennfa Why do you plug-in the price of avg 1 bedroom? If he makes less than the average than obviously his apartment is going to be less than avg price or maybe move in with people and share expenses….. that’s commonly what young people do in similar situations
lol. Kids can wrestle but can’t shake hands before the bought….cuz covid! Kids can play basketball but the opening jump ball has been eliminated…..cuz covid!!! At the swimming pool where my kids swam., you could go there and play and swim, but you weren’t allowed to go off the diving board….cuz covid!!!
I’m reminded of the Asch Conformity experiment.
@MikeCalcara I’m trying to think of how many parents think like this “Suzy is in high school so she needs a car…..but when she goes to college she won’t need it anymore.”
