@TheDOB @TheAthletic Saw that as well. I'm sure Norby wanted to pitch in those situations last year. Say what you want about CG, but he's not going to jeopardize a kid's future. It wasn't a Danny Beal situation.

@ecububba @StephenIgoe There's also a chance that CG and Gautreau have styles that don't mix. That's not a knock on either of their abilities as coaches, but sometimes it's just not the right fit.

I wish Igoe had an opportunity to sit down with Gautreau. Would be interesting to hear his approach.

@ecububba @StephenIgoe It's been discuss on the podcast, but I really think we are overloading our hitters with information. The catcher in CG wants to control the game from every pitch. This might be possible with Elite hitters but our guys seem to struggle being managed in this way.
