Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were NEVER able to stop the media or his ex from running false narratives behind his first divorce, the media even circulated misquotes out of context to malign them. Even this week, a bunch of bad stories filled with old spin was circulated against them. Brad Pitt has and ALWAYS will deny there was an affair and their actual romance began several months after he was separated. They were NEVER able to pull strings with the tabloids, his first ex wife was the one who pulled strings to aggressively and falsely play victim for over ten years and even plant all sorts of derogatory stories to sabotage their career and try to turn the public against him. It is 2020 and the press is still running false claims about Mr. and Mrs. Smith! The media has never stopped because his first ex wife has never stopped circulating that narrative underhandedly with the press. Brad Pitt gracefully defended himself and even Jolie from false allegations as well as be classy & tight-lipped every time the other ex took pot shots at him.
Both of them have been unfairly vilified over this for years, a million times more than any other celebrity. Tons of his peers have received minimal to no backlash over actual affairs while the media has used this false claim to demonize everything else about him. Even if that claim had truth to it, the press nor his ex is entitled to persecute him over a vice that the majority of celebs have engaged in without being crucified. We do not live in a puritanical society.
Jolie immediately vilified Pitt with all sorts of damaging claims to elevate herself in the eyes of public opinion. She ran such a severe smear campaign, that even Aniston chose to back Pitt by being on civil terms with him. Pitt had every right to defend himself and he hasn't aired the truth behind Jolie's own addictions or anything that would expose her saint image as fake.
Angelina lied against Pitt and her various versions were discredited by the FBI, DCFS, and LAPD. She has a much more severe track record of scandal, unhinged conduct, and hardcore addictions. Brad Pitt did not expose her behavior to authorities or to DCFS. He signed a DCFS agreement and did what he needed to do get joint custody and to appease her, even if it meant publicly taking the blame.
There was no drunken rage from him. He passed the blood & alcohol test at the scene and several witnesses including Thor Einarson vouched for him to help clear him. Otherwise, he would have been charged with drunk and disorderly conduct. He had something to drink that day but he was not legally drunk and not seriously intoxicated. That was an orchestrated incident that Pitt was cleared from. His brainwashed son got in his face and he moved him away. People do not know the real circumstances behind that argument

At our headquarters today, we welcomed into @NUP_Ug hundreds of new members coming from the four regions of Uganda. In my message to them, I reminded the new members that they have joined not just another political party but, rather, a movement on a mission to freedom. This is a REVOLUTION.

I also used the opportunity to emphasize that the problems prevailing in Uganda today including those of political prisoners and the unfair taxation system are all a result of the bad governance perpetuated by dictator Museveni’s long stay in power. That is why our priority first and foremost must be on ridding our nation of the dictatorship in order to establish a free, prosperous and democratic country. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners
